Beanie Weenies rule.

Bought a 2.5 pound log of pork Tuesday afternoon. It went into the slow cooker Thursday evening, along with a little garlic, a bit of pepper, and two quarts of cooking liquid that I keep in the freezer specifically for use in the slow cooker. I've used it well over a dozen times now, occasionally adding a little water when the supply evaporates too much during the cooking process. I've used it for pork, beef, chicken, and vegetables, and at this point it's got more flavor than the stuff I cook in it.
