Actually, the only pain I've had is leftover from the anesthesia needles. They gave me a prescription for Tramadol for pain control but I haven't needed it, at least not yet. No swelling, either. I'm restricted to liquids and soft foods for awhile but I've decided that I can use that as an excuse to pig out on Cup-O-Noodles and macaroni & cheese. 
After I got home from the hospital and a prescription run to CVS I took two Advil and an Oxycodone tablet left over from my last visit to the ER and promptly passed out in bed. Had a badly-needed five-hour nap; it had been a very long morning.
