    Much appreciation for that. I doubt it'll be as bad as last time; even if we get two feet of snow and lose power, Northeast Utilities understands that if they screw up even the slightest, there will be no escape. Every exec will be gone, the fines will be astronomical, and the company will likely be taken over by the State. Believe me, they're not taking any chances this time.

    On a related note, it was rather amusing to watch the customers at Walgreens tonight, scooping up armfuls of batteries, canned food, and other survival goodies. One woman left with four cases of bottled water. Lady, it's a hurricane, trust me, you'll have all the water you need, although most of it will be in your basement.
