The B-24 did (it began service in the RAF). I am not sure about the other B-17, but Sentamental Journey was built too late to see active service. She wound up putting out fires instead, until she wound up grounded. It too 10 years to get her back into flying condition, but she is my baby. Check out the B-24 on the YouTube posts.
