You want insane? You should see them in action when two of them want to use the same doorway. Both will stop and just stand there like UTTER MORONS, each waiting for the other to go first. Same thing if two of them arrive at the refridgerator at the same time, looking for leftovers. And on a more personal note, I've been trying to find a wife for the eldest son of the family I'm playing, to no avail; all the females in town are either involved with someone or otherwise incompatable. So I made a new Sim, who was an excellent match for him, and stuck her in a vacant house. Three days later, she got married to somebody else. Back to the drawing board, after I beat my head on it. Dang Sims drive me nuts.
