I heard about the Hobbit project as well. I have seen nothing further about it though (articles nor even a rumor). I would love to see somehting like that. Cass and I talked about the "Silmarillion" being made into a movie as well - albeit recording over a 1000 years would require a lot of hours of watching. Maybe make it into a mini-series or something.
