Another guitar player friend (whose band opened for Styx last year, and will be opening for the Doobie Brothers this year), and I know Al Pitrelli of TSO very well. My friend Monty has borrowed gear from him on a few occasions. Al is the musical director, and leader of the TSO guitar team on the west TSO. Skolnick heads the guitar team on the east TSO. There are two TSO teams in their organization (last I knew).
