It has been on the news lately here. The critters are not getting enough water, because there has been no rain, and so the are migrating into houses to get the food and moisture they need. It does not matter if you have a $150 thousand home or a $4.5 million home - you will have 'em (especially since I live closer to where they live. I have never had a scorpion of any kind living in my houses until within this past month. I have killed two and sighted one. Good news: they have all been the same size, so I do not have a nest. They just wander in. One lady reported having 72 in her house (a $1.5 million one), and exterminator calls have doubled as well as stings.
