The building was owned by Hartford Hospital; it's possible that we may have used the same water supply. That's the only thing I can think of. Dang good shower, too; it had a window so after getting clean I would often lead on the inside windowsill and watch the activity in the parking lot next door. Not much ever happened but it was relaxing.
