Actually people do. You can buy Black Aisiatic (over 7 inches from pincher to stinger), or African Emperor/Empress (same size). Bark ones you do not want. You would need an aquarium and fill it with peet (so they can burrow), and have a red lamp over them. As far as food - different kinds of bugs.
