I need to finally apply for "full disability retirement" from the VA (100%). Technically I can - I collect 50%. I just have not really considered it because I thought I might not really need it. But I do not work, and I collect a tax free check. I can get SSI on top of that and make over $3200 a mo tax free. Sounds comfortable. My friend has it.
