No not really. There's a cat that lives in my house but as much as one can really own a cat, she belongs to the person I share the place with. If he ever left, he'd take her with him. Now if there were no cats around I'd make more food/shelter provision for the wild birds like I used to when I had the place to myself. There's the frogs in the pond too of course. I love my frogs.
