Oh them, yes they're cool (although recent anti-smoking PIFs have painted them in a rather unfortunate light). Believe it or not, I've only ever read one Stephen King book in my lifetime, and that's "Different Seasons". I was drawn to it because it contains the original novella upon which "The Shawshank Redemption" was based, and figured that I might as well read the other three while I was at it. I thought they were good, but neither of my housemates seem to like him much (based on his horror writings). Then again, they don't like Marmite, so their sense of judgement is perhaps a bit questionable.
