    I love cartoons because they can be extremely simple, but still enjoyable. However, at the same time they can be as complex as you want them to be. You can read inbetween the lines all you want and always imagine that there's more to them. I guees that's why there is so much fanfiction based around cartoons.
    I also love them because they are escape. Life can be kicking me when I'm down, but cartoons are always there to entertain. Also, in the cartoon world, good always wins.

    What I don't like about them: Some of the best ones get cancelled for really stupid reasons. May that never happen to Foster's.

      Hello everyone. Just wanted to give a huge thank you for this topic, for we have a school project where we have to analyse forums, and one forum topic in particular.
      I chose this one. (Now the teacher wants to watch Foster's )

        What I don't like? Whatever the hell is happening to 90% of them now. ;_;
        And sometimes, I really want that whole Naruto thing to freaking dissapear - TV.com's 'animation' board has become a 'Naruto' board, or even a 'Naruto pairing' board. Also, potty humor is overused. MGP'sAM keeps trying to be funny with the monkey butts, but they really don't know they're being frowned upon I guess... And indeed, those fight scenes are... annoying. Violence is also taking over cartoons too much. And also, as in Foster's, complete 'pain' moments like Imposter's.

        Notice which list is huger.
        Meh, Naruto is just the new anime flavor of the year. I've seen it time and time again. I'm not a huge fan of it myself. I think a few of the characters are entertaining, but there are too many filler MUST POWER UP episodes to care about sticking to it.

        Also I don't get the Gym Partner hate. I know a lot of people hate toilet humor but it's not like this is a new thing. I'd like to point people to Ren and Stimpy as well as Rocko's Modern Life if you want to see grossout humor at its finest.

        What I really hate in terms of cartoons are the ones that clearly are just cheap clones of a popular series. Just you wait, Disney will soon try to find a way to copy Foster's, it's inevitable!

            I'm really sorry, it will be completely in Hungarian. And it's really long, I don't know if I ever manage to translate it.

              Post it in Hungarian. There's a free translator we can use.

                I tried translator programs, and they are really bad, sorry.

                Okay, let's get this thread back to topic.
