These arcade games can me found in the Arcade. Each individual machine has three mini-games of increasing difficulty on them. You must earn Popularity points to unlock mini-games. There are three stages to every game; if I don't have all three stages posted that means I haven't gotten around to adding it to the site. Also, I will be reposting the instruction screenshots (as links rather than directly as that will save me bandwidth), when I get the time.
Bloo's Brothers
Seeing Double: The Bloo clones stand stationary in this game.
Send In the Clones: The Bloo clones slide across the screen, each row going in a random direction.
Lights Out!: In the dark, a spotlight surrounds your cursor. The Bloo clones thankfully don't move.
Sparky's tip: Wacom tablet. If you have one, use it for these games, it's awesome!
Cracking Up
Sunny-Side Down: Coco eggs bounce around as you try to break them with what is apparently a rock on a rope, which you send straight up. Each egg breaks into two smaller eggs. I think there are four stages to the egg sizes.
Eggscuse Me?: A horizontal barrier occupies the center of the screen, and the eggs can bounce on top of or below it. Insidious!
Out Of My Shell: Now there's ladders to navigate, and horizontal barriers appear at different locations per level.
Sparky's tip: I have no tips for this game. I *still* suck at it and I *still* hate it and I can't beat it no matter how hard I try. :^(
Potatoes Calientes!
I Love Potatoes!: Throw huge forks at Ed while he juggles potatoes and other food items. Try to only hit the potatoes.
Calientes!: Second verse, same as the first...only now Ed's on a unicycle.
Very Calientes!: Wilt, also on a unicycle, helps juggle Ed's food, while Bloo wanders across the screen tossing pizza dough in the air and generally getting in the way.
Sparky's tip: This one works well with the tablet too. And when they say aim only for the potatoes...that's only if you actually want to score *points*. ;^) Anyways, keep your cursor just above and to the right of Ed's left hoof and click when a potato is just above your cursor.
Curse Of the Bloo Pearl
Ahoy Matey!: In this Dig-Dug-like game, burrow around underground gathering coins and unlocking a treasure chest while ghosts chase you around. Bloo stands serenely (and safely) at the surface (why did we agree to do this again??).
Pieces of Eight: In this version, you must drop bombs with the Z key to blast through the boulders to access all parts of the screen. Be sure to stand back!
Shiver Me Timbers!: With a larger playing area, more complex arrangements of boulders, and ghosts who can drift through solid dirt, you won't know which way is up.
Sparky's tip: Eh, no real tips. Just learn to gague the correct distance for a ghost to be behind you when you burrow under a rock.
Library Panic
Fully Booked: Climb up and down the ladder fetching the particular books the library patrons want, before time runs out. Watch out for the killer bookworms.
Lite-rat-ure: Same as game one, but watch out for the bookworms as they crawl along the shelves.
Overdue!: Now not only are there worms crawling around but a rat at the top of the bookshelf is trying to nail you on the head with miscellaneous items.
Sparky's tip: Jump on the ladder before even looking at what the next customer wants. Bloo's got more important things to do than wait around for you!
What's Cooking?
Order Up: At the Foster's picnic, its up to you to fetch steaks and water for the imaginary friends.
Licensed To Grill: Now ice cream has joined the menu. Watch out for Bloo - if he bumps into you you'll drop anything you have on your tray.
Sparky's tip: I haven't found Bloo to be much of a nuisance in the second stage of the game; just remember that its safe to run over him if you're not carrying anything at the time. PS - I call this the "What It's Like To Be Frankie" game.
Bite Nite
First Blood: Armed only with a flyswatter and your hand, keep mosquitos from waking up Eduardo.
Sparky's tip: Who thought of this??? This has got to be one of the most disturbing games I have ever played. Hasn't anyone ever heard of West Nile? Well, my only consolation is that this is another game that works well with the tablet. The best tip I can give you is, the light bulbs are the best bonus items; never neglect to click one.
Go Po Go
Boing!: Bounce around the attic on a pogo stick to collect the letters to spell the word "FOSTER". Watch out for spiders and other creepy-crawlies!
Sparky's tip: Aw, I *like* spiders. :( I know, that's not a tip.
Shutterbug
Picture Perfect: It's a photo treasure hunt! Collect the photos of certain friends, but watch out for Duchess - that mug'll break your camera!
Be sure to snap a photo of Bigfoot when he goes by the window, he's worth 100 points.
Make It Snappy: In the kitchen, Terrence joins Duchess in trying to ruin your photos. Snap a photo of the "Cannonball Ghost" for an extra 100 points.
Photo Finish: Outside, Bloo joins Terrence and Duchess in trying to ruin your photos. Snap a photo of the UFO as it whizzes by for an extra 100 points.
Sparky's tip: Another good game for the Wacom tablet. The clock is the most valuable extra in this game. I don't really recommend picking up the viewfinder enlarger - its easier to accidentally get a shot of Duchess, Terrence, or Bloo that way.
Something Fishy
Cast Away: Go fishing from a buouy, but avoid the electric eels and trash.
Get Reel: Now you've got a rowboat, but must contend with lightning storms and a careless scubadiving Bloo.
Sparky's tip: First and foremost, concentrate on clearing each level of fish. Treasures and seashells are nice, but you'll run out of time if you dilly-dally too long. Catch the clocks where you can, and the lifesavers if you need them. You can catch multiple fish on your hook, so don't be afraid to leave your hook underwater, bobbing up and down to collect more fish (but if an eel gets you, you'll lose everything on the line). Also, the only thing you don't want the eels to touch is your hook - the line itsellf is eel-proof. On the second level you'll be faced with rogue lighting storms - if you get rained on you'll lose points, and I suppose the lighting may cost you a life if it strikes you but that hasn't happened to me.
Go With the Flow
What A Drip!: Place the pipes in a working configuration before you wind up having to get a mop.
Sparky's tip: My only real tip is to create a "Discard Pile" of pipes you don't want. The game scores (and penalises) per SQUARE of the game board, not by actual pipes. You can stack your unwanted pipes all in the same square, and only get penalised ten points once, for the single square, instead of a bunch of times for multiple pipes.
