Default Homework of the Video Game Variety

I have this proposal for a final prooject due next week. I think, if I can figure out Dreamweaver, I'm going to make a website. The website can be about anything and I think I am going to make it about Video Games, specifically, girls and video games. Being that I am a girl and I like video games. Not that I don't want help from boys too, I was just trying to come up with a focus.

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here would be willing to help me out. I just wanted to get everyone's opinion on the topic and ask if there are any girls here that like video games and if they had a chance to say something to the world about that, would they be willing to?

I'm going to have more info about the site as soon as I make it up, but as of right now... I'm kind of clueless on the specifics.

Also, if anyone has any tips about using Dreamweaver, I would appreciate that as well. Thanks everyone.

I might. Kip Snip used to have a video game forum for a while and I thought that was really cool, mostly because I was a chick *and* I was the oldest person there so I used to play some really retro games...

I *wish* I had Dreamweaver. I just code everything with raw HTML.

Oh neat, I'm in the process of making a Dreamweaver site for one of my courses. I'm not really a master at it, but I did take a workshop on it if you need any help

Thanks, I'll come back here when I run into trouble.

Does anyone have a suggestion for a name for my site? Because I can't think of one.

Unfortunately Pixel Chix is taken. Bit Chix doesn't sound as good. Console Chicks/Chix? Gamer Grrls?

All I could think of was Girl Got Game. Which is the title of a manga/anime. Maybe Gamer Grrls. I wanted something really good since I have to actually turn this in for a grade.

Might I suggest the November issue of Nintendo Power magazine (issue # 221) for some research. It happens to have an interesting article about female gamers and what draws them to games and what genres they enjoy.
You should still be able to find it at news stands. The cover feature is Final Fantasy XII: Revenant Wings. I hope that helps.

As a gamer of the female persuasion I would love to offer my opinions on this if wanted.

Thanks Medikor.

TB I will totally take you up on that when the site comes closer to completion. Thanks everyone.

I got really desperate for a title and I acutally wrote down on little pieces of paper a bunch of words that reminded me of girls and video games. Then I threw all the words in a hat and pulled them out at random. These were some titles I got out of the hat.

The Hearts with Mario
Princess Escape Kingdom
Happy Awesome Skirts
The Pink Gal

These were silly, but I was having fun so I threw them back in and did it again.

Escape Skirts
Pink Awesome Games
Happy Hearts Strength
Rock the Princess Gal and Mario (This one is my favorite)
