I'm assuming that it was a prosthetic arm, designed to look like the real one, since I've always wondered why Wilt never got a prosthesis, but then again, they ARE really, really expensive. Maybe Madame Foster was holding the sale to raise money to buy him one, since he sure deserves a break like that(especially since they won't buy him a BED).
