I bought "Wilton" food color gel (they come in a tiny container) a couple years ago & would recommend them. They are vivid colors & don't require much to tint icing or dough. I'll have to check for powdered colors next time I'm shopping.
When I made the icing today, instead of adding milk I added a tablespoon of vanilla extract & 1 tablespoon almond extract. It made a delicious tasting icing! I had to put the cookies in the freezer before we devoured them all before Christmas!!  |
