Frankly, I've never liked anime. It was too actiony, when I always preferred comedy. And many times it was too "adult" in story lines, when I always preferred the more innocent childhood themes. I tried to get into Pokemon, because it looked like a really cool idea. But I couldn't even get into that. I guess I just don't like the style, period.

I still think it's cool to see CN characters drawn in a totally different way, though. Even if it's "anime" style. I just think it's fun! And actually, if you ask me, they don't really look all that "anime" to me. They just look "different", and older. But I totally agree- I hate the mindset now days that a cartoon has to be anime to be "cool". So not true! And I'm glad everyone's presence here proves that.
