I don't mind. Because Superman is the Man. Simply the most awesome superhero to ever come out of a four-color panel.
But to put it quite simply, branding goes an extremely long way. In I wouldn't have heard of the Hellevator had it not been for you announcing that it's name had been changed. So for good or ill, branding works.
