There was the Kowilteration video of Wilt doing that dance on YT, but I can't find it. I do have the video.

I can't seem to find it either...

Wilt reminded me of those guys that break out dancing in the middle of a circle while the people around him gawk and cheer and wonder where the heck he learned to move like that.

It's probably because of all the repeated sounds. That's exactly what The System is Down is. I always thought that one went faster, though. Although Bloo does go pretty fast at the end.

I believe I've seen the youtube video in question. Curly-haired kid with glasses making the noises, basically the same way Bloo does in the commercial.
The CN commercial probably wasn't so much a copy as it was a parody, or just and attempt to be funny without the youtube kid in mind. It's not like that curly-haired kid invented edited beatboxing.
