Okay, I've completed the new frame. It's light, I can lean in any direction - and right now I can fit through standard doorways, though that may change after I add the sheet foam, etc.
The link, again. Not pictured are my hot glue burns.  I don't have a lot to do this week, so hopefully I can make more progress on this thing.
