Well, my dad's a chemist. He thinks up these things.
Oh, god, can you imagine this in a Foster's episode? Cassini, do it with an egg if you just can't resist, same general response but not as destructive. Also, I forgot to mention that you have to use fiberglass resin and curing agent on the cloth to harden it. That way it builds up even more vapor pressure before it goes boom.
