I'm not really into the idea of Foster's becoming an anime. Nothing against anime, but I don't want it to sacrifice it's unique style so it can 'fit in' with the mainstream. The characters are already very expressive, especially Bloo and Frankie and Wilt.
But if it were well-made and treats the source material with respect, I would be cool with it.

That's my opinion, also. I have never been able to get into Anime at all, and one of my complaints is that the characters all pretty much are drawn the same way, in different series, by different artists. You can look at something and right away usually tell if it is Anime or Western animation, just by how the characters look. Foster's has Anime influences, but its own unique style, that I would not want to see changed, and I definately would not want the characters' personalities to change, or their voices. Those are perfect. This whole "Foster's As Anime" thing sorta reminds me of that guy on another forum who's always suggesting using the voices of various hip-hop and rap celebs to do the character's voices, and adding a soundtrack of hardcore rap, basically turning the show into another hip-hop/gansta rap-oriented thing. Aren't there enough of those on MTV?
