Yep, that was it. I kept thinking the whole time that this is just so not like Wilt to take off and go to a rock concert, leaving Frankie behind, knowing how badly she'd wanted to go. He just doesn't seem like the heavy metal type, let alone punk, and it certainly isn't like him to put his own fun over someone else's, in any case.

It was written by some other dude aside from the usual suspects, though, right? I can't recall who, but I guess we could kindasorta write it out of Wilt's "canon".

I knew his last name was Lewis! I'll have to go look and see if he's done any other episodes....

Actually Mr. Lewis wrote quite a few episodes in the shows first three seasons: The Trouble with Scribbles, Adoptaclypse Now, Bloooo, Partying is Such Sweet Soiree, Where There's a Wilt There's a Way, Squeakerboxxx, Beat With a Schtick, Bloo Done It (Co Written with Adam Pava), Eddie Monster and Hiccy Burp.

So given all his contributions I would say he was a member of the regular crew until he left to do his own thing.

Now to get this back slightly on-topic can anyone remember any specific examples of the Wilt-Man acting OOC in any of those episodes?

Hey, free concert is a free concert. I know that sounds mean and totally 'OOC' for Wilt to even consider that but a guy's gotta let loose sometime, doesn't he? Before 'Partying is such sweet soriee' Wilt didn't seem the kind who enjoyed dancing either. A character can still grow, and show what her/his likes and dislikes are even this far into a series.

I won't necessarily consider some of his behaviors in these episodes to be "OOC", but in some cases, they WERE a bit...well, different...from what most fans have come to expect of Wilt.

In "Squeakerboxx", Wilt is selfish with the toy elephant on the bus, actually yelling at the others and participating in a childish tug-of-war over the thing, instead of trying to be a peacemaker and smoothe things over and come up with a logical and fair solution. In "Blooooo", he throws his usual logical, common-sense way of thinking to the wind and jumps to the conclusion that Bloo is a ghost. True, he'd just seen a movie about a ghost, but it was just soooo fake, and you'd think that Wilt would have known that. In "Beat With a Schtick", probably the closest to being really OOC of them all, he totally went off on Bloo for something that really didn't even involve him, showing this nasty side and apparently indicating his own feelings of discrimation against the "Smalls"(short people/IF's). In "Eddie Monster" Wilt BACKHANDS Bloo upside his head, on purpose, and does NOT apologize, and it's strongly hinted that Wilt was also the one who K.O'd the tall Extremasaur whom they thought was the one that was to fight Eduardo. Of the group of Ed rescuers, he certainly would have been the only one strong enough to do so. In "Hiccy Burp", Wilt physically and literally KICKS Bloo out the room and has a minor tantrum when reminded to practice his lines, stomping off in a huff. Now, a lot of this behavior, and ALL of his behavior on "WTAWTAW", can be attributed to stress, since a person can only take just so much, and at times, can take less than usual, which is why I don't really consider most of it, with the exception of "BWAS", to be OOC. I can also attribute Wilt's backhanding Bloo and beating up that other tall IF as him being protective of a friend whom he knew was likely in grave danger; he knew that it was imperative that they get Eduardo back to Foster's ASAP, and by any means necessary, for his own good, and anything or anyone who stood in the way of that happening was going to regret it. Even though he didn't say anything about it, I'm sure that Wilt knew that Bloo was really behind Ed's running away and getting in this dangerous predicament in the first place. It's like those funny end credits to GWH, when he's heckling the ref, and you get the impression that if some other guy made the mistake of hitting Jordan, Wilt was gonna cause yet-another one of those nasty brawls that seem to plague the NBA so much nowadays.

Those are some of the things i love most about the Wilt man. All this stuff shows that he IS a character not just some polite long legged robot who seems to be the favourite character of nearly every blummin' girl in the whole world. It shows that he CAN get stressed, that he CAN get angry, that he CAN get annoyed and he can get insulted. In "Beat with a Shtick" he even does take things a LITTLE over the top, I mean, as Bloo said it WAS "Just a little joke". Being pretty tall for my age, I've had that "Hows the weather up there?" joke thrown at me countless times, and I'm pretty sensitive and yet it's never bothered me. I'm like "Hey, at least I'm not the last to know!". We all know Wilt can be (for reasons unknown) kind of sensitive about being tall (which I really don't understand), but I mean yelling at Bloo and NOT hiding him in the drier makes him seem a teeny bit out of character to most but it tells me is that you can't push a push over... completely over because hes standing up for him self and fellow 'None smalls' everywhere. Man, that little scene made the episode one of my favourite episodes XD.

I'd feel he found those jokes offencive. And I don't blame him for getting angry at Bloo in those other episodes either, Bloo was being a jerk in "Eddie Monster", and he WAS "just pushing it" in "Hiccy Burp", wanting to just annoy the heck out of everyone, including Wilt. Wilt can be tough when he needs to be, either to voicing out about how bad tall jokes are, or to saving a best friend's life.
