(Continued from above, one more time)

The whole KND Sector V

And lastly, some cute robots outside the animation exhibit. There was one that played Tic-Tac-Toe with you. It wasn't playing right though- wouldn't put the x's where I told it to. It was still cool though.

Basically how the day unfolded is Iceberg and I each waited for eachother at the two different entrances of the building. I sent him a text letting him know I was there and where I was, and he found me. Thankfully, we both had just gotten there so neither of us were waiting very long. We got our tickets and browsed through the exhibit for about two and a half hours. We played with sound effects, and did voice overs (both for KND), and watched while other people took pictures of themselves. We watched a few more people try a few other things, too. And then sat watching the cartoons in the screening area for about half an hour. And we talked a lot. We eventually decided we saw everything and went down to the gift shop, where sadly they had absolutely nothing CN related. Everything was either just science related or related to animation in general. It was a bit of a let down for both of us, but I found a cool shirt that says

Seattle Girl! Caffeine-craving, ferry-riding, fish-tossing, flannel-wearing, raindrop-dodging, super-cool, super-fun, hipster diva... Do I look like I use to play in a grunge band???
And there's a picture of a Starbucks cup on one side and an umbrella on the other. It made me laugh, and other than the grunge band part, it's sooo me.

We then went to eat at the Seattle Center's eatery. I had a Southwest Chicken sandwich with fries, onion rings and a pumpkin milkshake. We strolled around the Seattle Center grounds a bit more before finally departing at the base of the Space Needle.

There are a few more pictures of us, but I'll upload them later. Glad you like the pics Cass! I'm sure you would have enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun.

I definitely enjoyed these images that you've uploaded. I definitely would've loved to have scoped out this exhibit. Thank you for sharing, Lynnie.

Oh good, you saw it! I was about to give you the link over at FB. Glad you liked the pictures. Did you get the ones I sent you? I never got a reply so I just don't know.

Oh, I practically got lost again on my way home. Because I'm so good at that. I finally found the road I wanted, but I could only go south when I needed to go north. It was hard finding a way to exit so I could turn around without getting disoriented. Aaannnnddd, I got disoriented. I've never taken my little car on such a scenic trip through any downtown city before. Finally found the road I wanted again, this time NORTHbound, so it all worked out in the end.

Wow! I always wanted to visit Seattle all the way back to the 'grunge' era. It seems such a cool city but seeing all that stuff would be the cream on the cake. I'm glad to have had the glimpse you've afforded me there, so thaaaaaaaaaaaanks Lynnie. A lot of familiar faces there, including some of those robots I'm sure.

Glad you guys all liked the pictures! Here's the last few, the first two were taken with my phone.

Dear sweet little Mac, leaning smugly against the billboard.

And Dexter, who looks like he's excited to try out one of his experiments.

And here's the ones of Iceberg and I.

Yay, I got my picture taken with Frankie! She's quite a bit taller than me, but then, most people are.

Iceberg with Blooregard Q. Kazoo. Bloo and Mac both look happy to have him visit them.

And I got my picture taken with little Mac, yay! Finally someone shorter than me! But then, he's only 8.

Iceberg with Mac. They still all look very happy, I wish I was that photogenic, hehe.

And on my way home, I saw a rainbow in the sky. It's faint, but you can see it in the center of the picture. And here's also a good shot at State Rout 99, and a fast food joint and a gas station!

You have no idea how badly I want that Frankie cutout you're standing next to.

As I said before, great pics, and I'm glad y'all had a great time.
