Les Lye 1924 -2009
Les was the Ottawa area acting legend who was best known for playing all of the male adult roles on the popular CJOH/Nickelodeon sketch series "You Can't Do That on Television"
http://ottawa.ctv.ca/servlet/an/loca...hub=OttawaHome I'll never forget spending many an afternoon watching the likes of Ross the director, The Firing Squad Captain and of course Barf the Chef ("Dah, I heard that!") acting as comic foil to the ever changing cast of wild and crazy child actors. Les, you shall be missed.

Aww nuts!
I always remembered that guy's face freaking me right the hell out whenever I watched the intro to "You Can't Do That on Television"... Don't ask why, it just did. |

Very sad indeed. I'm not real familiar with him, but I have seen "You Can't do That on Television" a time or two. RIP Mr. Lye.
