you do not loose gifts with bad scores.
There is a bug that you may loose gifts under some conditions, these consist continuously replaying the same level, or the game crashing while playing. but one should not worry about these, because if you play the same game a lot, it should be easy to get a high enough score to get all the gifts back. Yes, you do lose gifts with bad scores. If you play a game and do not get a score high enough to get on the board and then leave the game, when you come back all the gifts will be back on the board. This is how Vicks and I were able to put together a list of all the pictures you get with games. We had to "reset" all the gifts so we could win them back to see what pictures came with what games. I discovered this when my son kept losing his turkey buddy. He would play the laundry game and not do well and all the gifts I won for him were returned to the game when he didn't get a good score and then left the game to play another one. I kept having to win back the turkey buddy and the next day or so he would lose it again because he could not get a score high enough to make it on the list.
And for me, as I noted not being game savvy in some other thread, it does not mean squat how many times I play a game, inevitably I have a bad game and either lose my gifts or have to keep playing until I can get a score high enough to get on the list. Keep in mind if you've played a game really well more than 9 (or maybe its 11) times you're name will fill every slot on the high scores list excluding the top score that always belongs to an IF. So to not lose your gifts you need to get a score high enough to break your lowest game. I tried playing Cracking Up again yesterday and lost 2 lives before I could even break an egg (I must have been tired because I kept running under and getting hit by the egg). Some people are just very good at video games while other, like me, just plain suck at it. When Vicks and I put together the list of photos here (http://www.fosters-home.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2382) she went through and replayed all her games in a matter of a day or two. To me, that's great video gamesmanship because it took me a week or more and I had only half the number of games to play. |

Wow, Thanks for the explanation,
That sounds like yet another game bug, I have not experienced that particular issue, but I have had the game reset the score (without me loging off) IF I keep replaying the same game 50 times in a row. Monty ![]() |

Yep! That is exactly how we got all those pics figured out. I honestly didn't think it would work and was sold on the whole bug/glitch thing that was intermittent and not something we controlled per se.
I just went and started the Game Level 1, died so I got no points, then left that Level. Then I went to Level 2 of the game. Same thing, no points or low enough points to not make it on the score board and died. Level 3 same thing. Then I went on to the next Game. I did that for a handful of games, then I went back to replay them, or I logged out, then replayed them. It may be a glitch, but it may also be a way that they make it so that you can re-win things over and over again, to add to the challenge. I don't know. It's probably a glitch they didn't see in the programming. Who knows. ~Vicks |
