No, it wasn't a dream. No, I'm not joking.
I SAW IT. Not the movie, the AD.
Poor, poor Wilt.
I think my heart's gonna have an attack. Better know CPR, for I haven't felt this excited since the first time the Foster's pilot ever aired. XDD
Bloo: WE'RE COMING TO SAVE YOU, WILT!!
Fankie: *shoves Bloo off her lap of the driver's seat* Get in the back.
Wilt in a tiny lawnmower. XDDD
Wilt alone in the dark, curled up. Awww....poor guy.
ROAD TRIP! PLANE! WEEEEEEEEE!!!
Bloo spilled punch!
Suspenceful 1 second scene with Wilt and some other imaginary friend with a basketball head at what appears to be a Basketball court, OMG.

YES, an AD! But it's for the movie event of YEAR! I SAW IT!! Man, oh, man-it looks awesome! Kinda got a bit of a Beavis and Butthead Do America vibe, but that's fine, is cool, is cool, as The Tall Red One would say. At least we do find out that the entire gang, Frankie included, go to search for Wilt, and it looks like we're gonna get to see some SERIOUS down-n-dirty action on the basketball court between our boy and some other dude, and get to see that "No Surrender" side of him that "Room With a Feud" gave only a small hint of!
Just Two....More...WEEKS!

I got it on tape, because I was recording the episode,"Bloo's the Boss" for my friend, and it came on when I'm off-guard!:wiltshock: I *so* can't wait for Thanksgiving!! HURRY UP, THANKSGIVING DAY!!! HURRY UP, SO I CAN SEE THE MOVIE!!!!>:( Oh, and if someone has the ad on tape unexpectily, can you upload it? I don't know how.:P
EDIT: And yeah, Pitbullady's inner child has been relased, all thanks to Wilt. GO WILT!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!

I don't think I've ever looked forward to ANYTHING, on the big or little screen, as much as I am looking forward to GWH! From the brief ad, it appears that there will be something for all of us, not just us rabid Wilt fans! I also got the impression that maybe Wilt doesn't KNOW who his creator is, for some reason, and is trying to find out who created him, and why.
And I don't know if you can say that Wilt, or this movie, is bringing out my "Inner Child", but he sure does bring out SOMETHING, something I would probably get kicked off VBulletin for going into any more detail with!

It did here, about half-way through the 7:30 showing.
And yes, that IS a riding lawnmower that Wilt is driving-I guess that's part of the reason, along with the plane trip with all those characters on board, why I got that "Beavis and Butthead" feeling, since an integral part of Mike Judge's sense of humor involves people driving riding lawnmowers down busy streets, whether in B&B or "King of the Hill", and the B&B movie involved some hilarious scenes on board a plane.

Yeah, when I saw that scene in the first "trailer", my thought was, "Uh-oh...DOG FIGHT!" I believe that Wilt is really gonna show that Pit Bull gameness for real, this time-all scratch, no turns! If that other guy can't roll with the game dawgs, he better keep his rump on da chain!
Wonder who that basketball-headed dude is, though? He might not be an Imaginary Friend at all, but some manifestation of Wilt's darker side. Or, this might be like the scenario in the movie "Crossroads"(which also involves a road trip), in which an aspiring Blues stringer has to go up against the Devil's own guitarist in a Blues "head-cuttin'" to win back the soul of an aging Blues harpist, Willie Brown, an old friend of the incomparable Robert Johnson, who like Mistah Johnson(according to legend), sold his soul for the ability to play the Blues.

I like that idea actually. The background does seem kind of dark, almost dream-like. It could just be the artwork, though.

There's even a big announcement for GWH on Animated-news.com now, in today's Saturday, Nov. 4, edition! You can see it at http://www.animated-news.com
They also announced that November is National Adoption Month in the US(maybe worldwide, I don't know), which is why there's gonna be all these new episodes of Foster's, the Foster's marathon, and of course, the movie. I just hope that this doesn't indicate that Wilt is going to be adopted at the end of the movie, though!

Sure!
So Mac and Bloo are walking around the picnic, and they start talking to the nerdy scientists that "discovered" Coco. Suddenly, Frankie walks over, offering them hot dogs.* So, the two nerds obviously have a crush on her. The one guy goes, "I'd be happy to eat anything you made, Frankie..." It's funny, if not disturbing.
*There's a shot of Frankie that I imagine will be on many an avatar as she walks over- an overexaggerated (*gets bricked*) version of Frankie to show how much the nerds love her.
It's a pity that Cartoon Network is so stingy. It's quite sad, really.

But wait a minute. Coco came to Foster's a good year before Frankie started hanging/working there like, 19 years ago. How can the nerds, who seem to be around Frankie's age, have been the scientists to discover Coco? They must look very youthful for their ages!

That clip was awesome. I wish there was a way I could put it on my site. Y'all might want to watch colo-bix's site (http://www.colo-bix.org/fosters/) though, he's been able to extract the Flash clips from the CN site before and upload them to his own site (I don't know if he'd have trouble doing that with a clip available only in the US though; perhaps a proxy can remedy that).

So, both the nerd and red head headed male ARE Coco's scientists.
Mac: "Where's your creator, Wilt? We'd love to meet him!"
Bloo: "Or her? Is he a girl?"
Mac: "Does she play basketball?"
Bloo: "Does she own a beach house?"
Mac: "I'll bet she's as nice as you!"
Bloo: "Would she lend me some cash?"
LAWL. Finally, questions about Wilt's creator in general.
Appearently Wilt's creator is alive. So the whole "Creator's dead" goes down the drain. "Hey, it's me, you thought you've never hear from me again, did you? Oh really? Ok, it's on! Well I'll be there in two days, and you can count on it!" -Wilt
Aww, I don't think we see Ed's creator...or Coco's (well, that's a "Well duh")

OMG! I just watched it! So Wilt DID do something terrible(in his opinion, anyway) in his past! I would guess it has something to do with that basketball-headed dude, since Wilt was definately drawing up a scratch line over the phone! If THAT wasn't a challenge, I don't know what is! Still, it might not have anything to do with Wilt's creator, which brings me to a topic that one of my students brought up this morning. You see, they know I'm a major Wilt fan, since I've got a handpainted Wilt polo shirt, I've got that Wilt statue on my dashboard, a picture of Wilt on the back of my staff ID tag, etc., etc. Some of them have seen the ads for GWH, and figured they could impress the mean ole' Art teacher by bringing it up in class. One kid, though, had a rather novel idea: what if Wilt is NOT an Imaginary Friend, after all, but a REAL monster who'se either been intentionally impersonating an Imaginary Friend all these years, OR (following the "Amnesia-after-head-trauma" theory)does not know himself that he's not an Imaginary Friend, having had his original memories replaced by the notion that he's an Imaginary Friend, with a human creator, somewhere? I know it sounds far-fetched, but it made me recall Mr. Marshmallow's idea for a fanfic, in which a monster comes to live at Foster's, and is mistaken for an Imaginary Friend. That might explain why Wilt was so nervous(understatement warning)when asked about his creator.
Yeah, I know that is just the ramblings of a geeky fifth grader(although unlike the geeks who studies Coco, he prefers to be called a nerd), but it sure got MY brain cells going at 8:00 am, something even my second cup of black coffee hadn't managed.

We don't know if that was actually his creator he was talking to, though. For all we know, he could be talking to the basketball guy, or someone we have yet to see.
You can actually see Ed's creator at the very beginning of the clip. She's the girl in the police outfit standing next to Ed and the others at the front gate, and the one helping them out in the trailers.

I DON'T think it was Wilt's creator that he was talking to on the phone, although we are probably supposed to think so from that scene. It most likely WAS that basketball-headed dude, since Wilt was clearly issuing a challenge to SOMEBODY, calling someone out, as it were, and it certainly looks as though there will be a quite nasty showdown between him and Mr. Basketball Head. From Wilt's tone, I seriously doubt it was anyone he cares about, that's for sure.
I know that Wilt has not discussed his creator on the show, but then again, that topic has never come up, until now. Still, though, it seems odd that Wilt should be THAT evasive about discussing it. If he does not know who created him, why not just say so? I mean, it's not like it will change any of the others' opinions of him in the least. It also would not make sense to be that neurotic just because his creator didn't show up-again. I can understand him having his feelings hurt, and I know that Wilt is a typical adult male who has issues with discussing his feelings with others, but GEESH! It would make more sense, if that were the case, to simply shrug it off like he does pretty much everything else, at least publicly. SOMETHING is just very odd about that whole thing. I guess we'll just have to wait, to see if indeed Wilt ever had a creator, and just what Mr. Basketball Head has to do with that creator(if anything at all)and why Wilt has such a grudge with this guy.

And, if Wilt holds such a grudge against this basketball headed dude, why would he just give him a call? AT 11:00 PM at NIGHT? It seems really off, when we thought just a few minutes ago that this was Wilt's creator we were talking about.
Seriously, who'd want to give YOUR bitter rival a phone call late at night as if calling a friend? For a rival, most people wouldn't even WANT to be near, see, or even talk to that person.
Unless when Wilt meant that "I did something terrible," meant "I have a settle to score,", and that he thinks the basketball headed "IF" has won his creator over Wilt that could explain why the creator never shows up to see him, it doesn't make any sence to me.
WHY would a person call their bitter rival like that??

You have to realize that highly-competitive people don't think like the rest of us. Wilt is, as I've said before, like a two-legged Pit Bull; he is MEANT for competition, to get down 'n dirty, and enjoy every second of it! For whatever reason, Wilt has harbored a grudge against that other someone on the phone, and called him up to call him OUT. He was clearly issuing a challenge, whether for a re-match of a previous game, or what. Rather than continue to avoid that individual, and live with the self-inflicted stigma of being a quitter, a coward or a "cur", Wilt is the type to openly confront his rival. Highly-competitive people don't AVOID such challenges and keep away from others that they don't like; they seek them out! Now, if *I* was going to call someone up to challenge them, in a not-so-friendly way(and there was clearly no love lost between Wilt and whoever was on the other line), what BETTER time to do so than late at night, since I would at least have the comfort of knowing I'd really bugged 'em good, and probably made 'em get out of a nice comfy bed just to answer the friggin' phone! You need to keep in mind, though, that Wilt now lives on the Pacific coast, on Pacific time, and it's likely that his rival lives in an entirely different time zone, and it probably isn't 11:00 pm where he is, but 2-3 hours earlier. Also, Wilt needed to keep his conversation and subsequent leaving a secret, so he had to act while the rest of the household was supposed to be sleeping.

Yeah, it does, LOL! I will bet that this was exactly what the writers had in mind, too, especially after Bloo says, "Man, Wilt's creator must have been a real JERK!"
It was really neat to see and compare the many IF's with their creators, and see how the IF's either are total opposites of their creators, like Fluffer Nutter being created by that big tattooed biker dude, or near-mirrors of them, like Creaky Pete and his creator! It does go to show that you cannot make assumptions about an IF's creator based on what you see in the IF, though, doesn't it?

:(
With all due respect, as someone who could be considered a geek and knows all too well of how it's like to be an outcast, I find that statement to be EXTREMELY OFFENSIVE and INSULTING.
If these geeks turn out to be shallow-minded jerks like Dylan, I won't have a problem if Frankie knocks their lights out cold. But seeing the potential nature of their role in the episode(i.e. possibly be the scientists that studied Coco), I really doubt it. I truly hope that this whole sideplot is handled in a respectful and classy way, and that no one's feelings end up getting undeservedly hurt. You guys might think it's just a joke... but it's something that I'm personally very sensitive about.

Since when did "Geek" become synnonymous with "outcast"? That's a new one one me, as someone who's been called BOTH more than once! A "Geek" is someone who's extremely intelligent, especially in one particular area, like technology or biology(my forte'), but does not fit within any fashion parameters of the day, and often seems to "march to a different drummer", so to speak. Here in the US, many people proudly proclaim themselves to be Geeks, and enjoy a rather elevated social status because they can do things other people can't. Most do subscribe to some sort of fandom, often something science or fantasy-related, to indulge their intellect. I do not use that term in a deroggatory manner, since as I've said, if it weren't for being an over-the-hill Redneck(and that term doesn't bother me in the least, either), I'd be called a Geek far more often myself. The two guys(who ARE the scientists who studied Coco, by the way)plainly stated that they didn't like being called "Nerds", since a Nerd not only is socially inept and does not adhere to fashion, but generally(as Bloo as pointed out)isn't too good at doing things. I mean, the tech assistant teams at a major computer company here in the US actually are officially called "the Geek Squad", and wear badges on their shirts and drive trucks identifying them as such, so if that term were offensive, they'd hardly want to do that, would they?

It wasn't the terminology I found offensive. It's how you remarked about Frankie giving them "bloody noses" as if they're already confirmed to be complete jerks, even though I've yet to see any real indication of that. And it didn't help how some a few others here referred to "geeks" and "nerds" in a derogatory fashion following that remark, giving the vibe that anyone who falls into either are worthless and deserves to be mocked and ridiculed.
That bothers me on it's own. But considering my feelings toward Frankie, it becomes ESPECIALLY hurtful.

Other than the incident with Dylan and going after Mr. Herriman with a mop in "Busted", both of which required considerable provocation, she's never taken a swing at anyone. Completely and 100% agreed. I think despite the fact some may consider those two "nerds", they obviously cared enough about Coco to study her (I take that as a form of affection in a creature they are obviously fascinated by) and they think Frankie is gorgeous, giving her the admiration she deserves. Even if they DO become annoying, at least she knows people admire her. :)
Voxxyn

Exactly how I feel, Cassini. If they're complete jerks, then they deserve the pain and heartbreak. But it would be very unlike Frankie to punch them simply for being annoying, which is why I reacted so badly to that suggestion. Considering the nature of their role in the movie - combined with how their names combined are yet another Douglas Adams/Hitchhiker's reference - I REALLY doubt they'll be jerks.
I'm unable to see the clip and thus, I haven't seen the "exaggerated" Frankie some have mentioned. I'm not gonna judge until I finally see it... but I doubt it'll come remotely close to the real thing in my eyes. It might be appealing to those who have a material view of 'beauty', but I'm with Cass; it can't compare to the wholesome wonderfulness of the real Frankie.

I was, of course, referencing how Frankie deals with ANY overzealous suitors, including Prince Charming. Those two guys might not make a move on her at all, but it was certainly implied that at some point, at least one of them WILL, seeing as how they view her. Frankie's way of handling guys who are too foreward has nothing to do with the sort of guys that they are, seeing as how Prince Charming and Dylan Lee were about as different, personality-wise, as any two guys can get, but both discovered the same hard way that Francis Foster is no delicate little flower.

Prince Charming hauled Frankie to the restaurant's restroom AGAINST HER WILL, and who knows what his twisted mind would've done had she not retaliated. And remember that he actually punched that elderly waiter, so Frankie punching him was more or less instant karma.
Dylan and Prince both learned the same hard way despite being different people, that's true. But which one of these was seen hanging out in the living room with Frankie and the others in the final scene of the episode? Aside the fact that Prince basically lives at Foster's, he and Frankie seemed to be on very good terms. I think that has to do with his personality being nowhere near as unpleasant as Dylan's.
Judging from the ads and clip, I don't think these geek characters be Dylan-ish at all. Even if one of them DOES get some sort of bruise from getting too up-close with Frankie, I would think their final interaction/farewell would be positive instead of negative.

Wilt looks so cute when he looks sad, (cue the one hour "AWWW" session) especially when he had his head down, that reminds me of me when I walk, I hardly ever look foward, I usually look down at my shoes. XDD
He looked like he was so left out because, as he looked out the window of his shared room, everyone looks all happy and having fun, not having a care in the world. As for Wilt, he looks left out...poor guy. I, myself, feel left out, like no one sees that I am even there, acknowledging my "left outness" at times, so I know how he feels about THAT. I, too, agree with this statement. I don't think it's in Frankie's nature to give a good ol' beating to someone just for the heck of it. ;) She usually has to be REALLY provoked before that happens (the incident with Dylan was a perfect example, just as others have mentioned. I can't help but say that he had it coming to him-I mean, if I were in Frankie's shoes at that point I might have even done the same thing! XD He was dissing her friends and that's never cool).
And as for the "nerd" "geek" thing I've always thought of myself as a nerd even though most people don't really think I am one for some reason. I DO like to analyze things a lot-it's just in my nature. I'm constantly interested in learning new things about characters, shows, just anything! She's very hot, there's no denying that, but it's heat without warmth, if that makes any sense. Gorgeous, yes, but there's no topping the original.

I think someone may have already gone over it, but Wilt says, "I did something terrible and its time to set things straight." (I'm paraphrasing not sure he said it exactly like that.)
What terrible thing could Wilt have done? This makes me go with PBL's ganster theory even more....I wonder if Wilt was even a gang leader and got into some real troublesome situations.
I am SO wanting to see this episode to levels of craziness! lol

I was cracking up during play practice today. Y'see, we were blocking the dance for "Status Quo" (we're doing High School Musical), and the girl who plays Martha Cox (the hiphop girl?) was showing us her dance moves.
One was called "the lawnmower".
I laughed hysterically, because I saw Wilt driving a lawn mower in the back of my mind.

I see plenty of it at school, too, which is exactly WHY I got such a strong "East Side vs. West Side" feel from that face-off clip from Good Wilt Hunting. Many of my students whe ARE gang members have even speculated that Wilt could have been an "O-G", or "Old Gangsta", a term for a gang leader, in the past. While is is not pleasant to think of at all, it would indeed account for Wilt's eagerness to be helpful, and his deep-seated fear of upsetting others and being cast out yet-again, as trying to attone for some horrific thing(s) he's done in his past. As difficult as it is to think of, an abandoned Imaginary Friend, desparate to belong to someone, would be perfect gang recruit fodder, especially one with Wilt's athletic abilities and strength, and his height. Wilt does have a natural leadership ability and has shown that he is perfectly capable of taking charge of a situation(as he does in "Blooooooo"), and he's very charismatic, so it would almost be a natural progression for him to eventually rise to a position of importance and status. While Wilt seems so nice and sweet now, as CG has speculated in her fanart piece, this might not have always been the case. He could very well have been a real male offspring of a female dog at one point, if you know what I mean, and if pushed into a situation where he had to join a gang to survive on the streets, like many humans, he'd probably take that route.

It'd make sense Wilt be a leader when you have a group made up of a fraidy cat, a person who dosen't care & is a jerk, a person who's sort of nuts (We could kill him 8D ) & a kid. Plus sometimes a blabby girl & a retard.

Think about it, though, people-who is more believable and respectable, someone who has always been a perfect "Goody Two-Shoes", always having done the right thing, or a person who has managed to turn their own life around for the better, making a choice to to stop doing what is wrong and using their talents and abilities now to HELP others? Who would you figure would be more respectable, especially for kids who might themselves be involved with not-so-nice things? Someone who's always been perfect is not believable, even in an animated character, because no real person is like that. Someone who's made some really bad mistakes in the past, and is now working to change that, is a much better role model because what they say and do now has more credence to it. A kid who is toying with the notion of joining a gang can look at someone who's never done anything wrong, and just think, "Yeah, right! What a wuss!", but if they know that this person has struggled with the same issues that they themselves now face, and overcome them, that makes the redeemed character much more "solid" and respectable, and a better example. I know that I cannot have much respect for someone who's telling me how to do things and live MY life, when I know that they have not had to face the same issues that I have, but if I know that they've been through what I am going through, and overcome it, what they now say and do has more meaning for me, personally.

I've ruined my enjoyment of this event.
I've been to CN's press site and you know what? They have a pic of Wilt's creator on there, as a young boy, with a pre-incident Wilt.
His creator's name is Jordan Michaels.
Please, warn people to STAY AWAY from turnerinfo.com press site.
PLEASE.
Wow, that was interesting.
I had this REAL strong suspiction the kid was black...I was right! Wow. Kinda creepy and cool at the same time. Of course, that IS Wilt's creator as a young kid, not fully grown, and that IS Wilt BEFORE his incident, so we're not sure of all that happened yet, meaning it isn't that much of a spoiler. I'm not sure why those pics are there either, but unless someone specifically knows of it, LIKE YOU POINTING IT OUT, it's not such a big deal. :P I for one still have a zillion questions and can't wait to see the whole thing. And Aw...Ed looks so cute hugging his creator. ^_^

I'm not bothered by the spoiler at all; if anything, it RAISES more questions than it answers. So, now at least we do know that Wilt DID have a human creator, but what we do not know is what happened to "(name removed)", or why he abandoned Wilt, or IF he abandoned Wilt, since there are many ways they could have been separated. We still don't know what this "terrible thing" is that Wilt did, or what it has to do with his creator, if it has anything at all to do with him. We do not know WHERE Wilt spent his early years, though it does appear to have been in a large city. We do not know what, if anything, that Basketball-headed Dude has to do with Wilt's creator, and just what the relationship between him and Wilt is, only that it does not appear to be a friendly one. We learned that Wilt WAS NOT(and this should not come as a surprise, honestly, since the evidence has always pointed to Wilt having been injured), once and for all, imagined with one eye and one arm and a scarred-up face; SOMETHING happened to him, though the biggest question still remains: WHAT?? Do Wilt's injuries have anything to do with the Basketball-headed Dude and that pack of Imaingary Friends(or whatever they are) on the other side of the fence, or anything to do with his creator, or something completely unrelated? I'm looking forward to this movie nwo more than ever, if anything!

I hate what happened, but we had no reason to assume that if CN put the pictures up, that the show's crew was not in favor of them doing that. It's really CN's and Turner's fault, if anyone is to blame, but as I said, it really still leaves many questions yet-unanswered, and I for one would never have figured out at which point that scene takes place in the movie. It certainly does nothing to diminish MY desire to see the movie, over and over, and I'm probably speaking for most of the fans. A real fan is going to watch it no matter how much information they gather via spoilers. I could read the entire script, word for word, and I promise I will still be like, Superglued to my tv Thanksgiving evening!

I honestly don't think they ever mentioned Mac's mom's IF being in this show. It was supposed to be Wilt, Ed, and Coco's creators (or in Coco's case the scientists who studied her) there was nothing mentioned about Mac's mom. So we might not find that out at all! Thanks everyone. I didn't want anyone to feel guilty, I just didn't want word to spread out of control.
CN went ahead and took the photo down. It looks like it was an oversight. There are so many hundreds of people working at Turner, not everybody gets the information they need and I'm sure somebody just went "aaaw, that's a cute shot. Let's put that on the press site!" I don't think anybody went "Screw Craig and Lauren! We're puttng this up!" Except for this one mistake, the folks at CN have kept everything we asked them under wraps. Usually I just try to stray far, far, FAR away from spoilers. Sometimes good and exciting things can come out of them but other times terrible things can come out of them, thus ruining huge plot twists or anything else that might have been meant to be kept under wraps.

I tend to disagree as well, NOT so much because of Wilt's condition, but because of the episode, "Eddie Monster". Basically, what those kids were doing down at the junkyard, and sole purpose behind them creating their Extremasaurs, was the Imaginary equivalent of dog-fighting. That was little different from kids in real life stealing Pit Bulls and other dogs, hiding them in abandoned buildings, and pitting them against each other in places like junkyards, old warehouses, vacant lots, etc. It's the whole, "My dog can beat up your dog, so that means you have to respect me" mentality, only with Extremasaurs instead of dogs. Even though it was handled in a comedic way, without the blood and gore associated with real dog-fights, there was still that strong implication that Eduardo WAS in real danger of being hurt or killed. That is a pretty strong and controversial subject matter to take up, when you think about it, and these sorts of activities ARE often associated with gang behavior, so I don't think that the Foster's creativity crew would be afraid to tackle other such issues. They would just do that in such a way that the little kids really would not "get it", and would just see a funny, albeit somewhat tense, situation, but older viewers would be able to "read between the lines" and figure it out.

Man, is that a rough-looking crowd in the background or WHAT? They look more like the cast of "AHHHH! Real Monsters!" or Monsters, Inc than any of the Imaginary Friends we've seen so far! Anyone notice how much that little short guy(?) on the far right in the first pic looks like "Boo" in her monster costume? And Wilt is totally playing "hard ball" here, if "play" is the right word to use in this particular situation!

The shots, for the record, came from the end credits of whatever it was that preceeded tonight's rerun of "Hiccy Burp".
Well we've seen from 'Eddie Monster' just how monsterous some imaginaries can look. Especially if they were created by bullies, or 'jerky teenage boys'. And given the neighbourhood that it looks like, a lot of the local youths who would hang around those parts would make monsterous looking imaginaries.

Hence why I STILL agree with your gangster theory.....

Yeah, they don't look like a friendly crowd of IFs, THAT is for sure. They give me the shivers, actually.....
Now C'MON, doesn't ANYBODY think that his rival there looks like he came straight out of the "Yellow Submarine"?? LOL I absolutely love his design, and can't wait to see what his name is rather than calling him "basketball-head dude" all the time. 8D
Interestingly enough, I had some ideas swimming around in my head about doing a fan-fic solely based on pictures like these, imagining what the scenario is and what exactly is happening. (Besides an actual basketball game, duh.) I gave the 60s-looking dude the name "Jackson Pride". Don't know why, but it seems to suit him well or something. Or that even the gang he is involved in, if there is indeed one at all, could be named that as a title.
Like it? :)
ps- Okay after looking at him and the way he's drawn, I am CONVINCED this rather strange Imaginary was designed as a direct nod to the Beatles' animated movie. He HAS to be, it reminds me of it in every way! (Lauren if you're reading this, could you let me know? Pweeeeease??? lol)

This spells out "Frankie and Mac looking for Wilt" to me. They may be going throughout the town asking if anyone's seen him. Therefore, she could just be some random neighbor.

I'm hoping it turns out to be Kathy but I doubt that's the case.

Kathy?
Yeah, Frankie's friend whom we have heard mentioned, but not yet seen, unless she was that brunette driving the car that Bloo sideswiped with the bus in "Bus The Two of Us". She's the one who tried to call Frankie on her cell phone in that episode, only to reach Bloo instead, and later called her at the houses, prompting yet-another Wilt panic attack. She called to ask Frankie to go pick her up since someone, it seemed, had hit her car with a bus. Se is also the person with whom Frankie is talking at the beginning of "Frankie My Dear", complaining to about having to do all that paperwork and not being able to go out with the others.

I noticed that he's wearing the exact style of early-Sixties basketball uniform that Wilt Chamberlain wore back in the day. Probably just a totally meaningless coincidence, but his colors(green and yellow)are the same as the uniforms I picked for the opposing human team in my fan art pic, "Days of Glory".

Yes, that defenatly looks like Wilt Chamberlain's basketball uniform that the "Basketball Dude" is wearing. Has anyone noticed it looks like Wilt stole the ball?
My question is, how does Wilt get inolved back in that "gangsta" scene, that is if he and they used to be rivals? We all know that Wilt is the type to avoid all conflict whatsoever, I'm wondering how he get's in to this; and I also have just a simple little theory.
It was way back in the day when Wilt used to be involved in his "gang" scene. He used to have two arms then plus two good eyes. Now, he either made a bet with the the gangsters and lost, or got snitched somehow-either way, they beat him up and tore off his arm and broke his eye. Well, now that Wilt has run away and is back out in the rough, ugly, hood, he runs across his gang scene again. He remembers what they did to him, and wants to avoid them, but they start making fun of his "disabilaties", saying stuff like, "I bet you can't nothin' with one arm and that broken eye!".
Okay, you know how Wilt acted like he was gonna kill Bloo when Bloo said, "How's the weather up there?"? If it were me, I'd be even angrier about someone making fun of my-what they call "disabilaties". So, that ticks Wilt off a little bit and he shows them "Who can play".

Actually, it appears from the longer trailer that was shown online that WILT instigates the current conflict. He makes a late-night phone call to someone, using a very challenging tone of voice, telling whoever is on the other end, "I bet you never expected to hear from ME, again, DID YOU?" Wilt is clearly calling someone out, iniatiating a challenge, and making arrangements for a show-down. There was absolutely nothing nice and polite about his tone! I have to assume that the person on the other end is that Basketball-Headed Dude.
Wilt APPEARS to be very non-confrontational NOW, but that does not mean he was always like that. We've seen that he does have a highly competitive streak in him, and it would not be surprising to find out that in the past, Wilt tended to have a bit more of a chip on his shoulder when it came to conflicts and someone dissin' him. Much of his current nature could very well be the result of emotional trauma he experienced along with his physical injuries, and feeling that he needs to attone for something by being so nice and helpful to people. In the longer online trailer, Wilt also tells Bloo, who catches him leaving the house, that "I've done something really terrible, and I need to set it straight", and that does reinforce that Wilt was involved in SOMETHING illegal or just plain bad in his past, and was not as nice a person as we see now.

I just happened to watch the video trailer for GWH again(it's now on the CN Foster's site homepage), and noticed something for the first time. When that group of IFs and their creators are gathered around "Sockey-Tubey" on the lawn, watching a basketball game, you can hear the announcer-listen for the name of the player who shoots the winning basket!
pitbulllady
Ooh. Think it's a good idea pointing that out, pbl...?

I am *positive* that same basketball player was called by name elsewhere in the series. I'm just *positive*, though I don't recall which ep.
Guys we were told to ignore the name, now you're telling folks to listen out for it. I don't really see that as fair...

But this was aired on television, which is different than a slip-up with CN when they put that picture on the website. I don't find the problem with it, if someone like PBL can point it out, others can too. There's nothing wrong with that once something airs on TV. At that point I consider it "out" and safe to talk about. That's just my opinion, anyway.

Well that's not really fair, PBL makes mistakes just like everyone else, including myself. Yeah ok, we're supposed to be more secretive about the name, I'll spoiler-tag some stuff I guess, and we shouldn't say anything else until the movie airs (not even with spoiler tags, I suggest).
