if he can't post the code, is it possible to give a hint on how you can get the codes- like do you get them from adventures with bloo, helping friends, searching the house, playing minigames or what? If you can't post it here though, could you pm me?

I think they may be holding off to release the codes in a future update.

Maybe during the airing of "Good Wilt Hunting"

Given that it is true that the codes are not planned on being released yet, it would not be the first time that code/game elements were in a release but not accessable.

I've PM'ed a few people the codes now, and I'm going to be away on anothe business trip for most of the week.

Im not taking my laptop but I plan on meeting up with someone who is bringing one, so I MIGHT be on-line, if I can loan it. But theres a chance I might not be, so sorry to those guys who are message me while I'm away.

I'd not planned on telling anyone the codes, but plenty of people have pestered me I've sent them out via PM to a few people, but PLEASE dont post them to the forum.

Having looked that the text to the adventures they dont appear in there, and I cant find anywhere else in the game they appear, unless they are hidden in an art asset I've not loaded.

I wonder if they are going to be hidden in this months selection of episodes, or maybe they will give them out during adverts for the games...?

Someone told me that he heard they would be in CN bumpers (In the US only) so that might well be it. In that case I may also need help obtaining the codes as I really don't watch a lot of CN. However, I have a modicum of patience. This thread makes me kinda sad. Especially since I know several people signed up for the forum JUST so they could beg for the codes.

what's so wrong to join for the codes? this thread will bring you more users... and it's not the only thread i'm writing... this forum is great, and if i joined for the codes doesn't mean i can't post on other threads

I guess what Sparky is saying is that she's afraid that the people who join for the codes will get them and then never come back.

However, you have already told us that this is not the case with you.

I am posting this in this thread because I know its where people searching for codes, members and guests alike, are flocking. (Well duh, lol.)

I have received a PM from a member who received an unsolicted PM from another member begging for codes. If anyone else has received a PM like that, please PM me about it. (How many times can Sparky say "PM" in one paragraph??") Please don't "tattle" on people publicly on the forum though.

IT IS UNACCEPTABLE TO HARASS OTHER MEMBERS and I *do* consider that harassment, to PM someone begging for something when they never said, "PM me and I'll tell you *whatever*". If I find that this person has sent that PM to multiple "innocent bystanders" they will be banned (though probably only temporarily). Same of course for anyone else guilty of the same thing. Most forums have a rule about that and often permanent banning is the punishment. I never thought I'd have to TELL people not to do it but I'm doing it here, because those silly codes have become such a big deal.

It's okay when people PM or email me begging for codes because I run a BFAHP website so people tend to think I know a lot about it. Lol, I don't really. As you probably know, one can run a website for something without knowing a THING about it. 8D

So anyways. If someone hasn't said specifically, "I know the codes/where to find the codes, PM me", DO NOT PM THEM ASKING/BEGGING FOR CODES. 'Kay?

Ok, Ok, Ive had a few people pester me, so....

there are currently only two codes that work, one gets you a hat, the other gets you a buddie.

And these are ones that you cant unlock via the minigames...

Is it known which buddy and hat are unlockable?:frankiesmile:

Okay. NOW that this code has aired, I think it should be given out to people who want it. *Before* it was even released, it was kinda...sneaky to get it from a person who cracked the game files, IMHO. So its posted on my BFAHP site. I'm going to make a stickied thread directing people over there, and I will post codes there as they are reported on here (I know myself and chances are slim I'll be the first one to find any of the codes).

Hi all, yes I'm new and yes my first post is on the secret code board, but I'm not asking for any codes on here.

Just waiting for the modgod that is sparky to post them on the "Never forgotten" site.

1 thing that does make me post on here is the fact that earlier in the thread someone mentioned there were a spate of newbies signing up just to get the codes. So what??!!!
I have the unfortunate privalage of being English(British), therefore I get British transmissions of 'Fosters' over here.
So I like many other people aren't getting these codes when you get them broadcast over there.

Hardly fair is it??!!!
So just think before some get high and mighty, some of us don't get the codes broadcast and we won't have that slightly more enjoyable advantage to the game.

1 thing I think the programmers might do is introduce each code and bonus at staggered times through out the remainder of the year rather than all of them be there from the begining as to avoid the hackers out there cracking the codes early.
Just a thought to save some people going through every 6 letter word combination possible and getting nowhere!!!! :D

Other thas that, a good site you have here, not long found it(about a month ago) but been playing the Fosters game for 3 month.

I do not see a point in joining just to get codes.
Particulary since you can read the forums without joining.

What bothered me was Some of the new members that joined just to get codes:
1) they started begging for codes several days before they were released on TV in this thread.

2) people started PM me and other memberes asking for the codes, the day before the first code was released.

i've been in a few fourums in my short life on the internet and I wouldn't send a PM without asking first.

I saw earlier in the thread that you don't watch CN much, I think it would be disturbing if anyone watched THAT much TV :cheese: but as I said over the pond we won't get these transmissions with the code on, so for the sake of the over the pond pals, you'll have to understand why some people will come on here asking for them.

Well I have to admit it miffs me just a tad too that I get so many PMs and emails from people asking if there are any new codes (since the two that I have posted on my site). As if to say that I'm a greedy git who learns codes and won't tell unless I'm begged to. Of course I post them the MINUTE I learn them, before I even log onto the game and enter them myself! So that does bother me a little bit.

Everyone, reading this, there is NO reason to ask me personally if I know any new codes. I *will* post them to my site asap when I learn them, really! I don't need to be asked personally.

In my head now every time someone comes on here and acts like that I'm going to think of my brother's response, "We already have our Golden Calf, thanks." I'd post a picture of the Golden Calf each time too just to be snide, but I suppose someone might be offended. (Sorry if anyone was offended by me just mentioning it, I just found it really funny when my brother said it. I mean its like some people are worshipping the secret codes and others are expecting to be worshipped for providing them. And if you find *that* sentence offensive then again I am sorry.)

HOWEVER I suppose I can be thankful that I may be PM'ed less often for codes now if people have other people to turn to. It's Thanksgiving (it still is here) so I can be thankful if I want. ;)

You know that little rules thing you have to read and agree to in order to register? I added this following paragraph to the TOP of it several days ago:

DO NOT POST SECRET CODES FOR THE AWESOME HOUSE PARTY WITHOUT USING SPOILER TAGS!! For more info on this, please read the Rules For Posting Secret Codes thread in the Big Fat Awesome House Party section of the forum. Believe me, we already know the codes the moment they are released; we don't need people to sign in JUST to tell us the codes. (Sorry to vent, but the whole Staff is getting sick of people registering, posting "The codes are (blah blah)!" and vanishing again. YOU MUST USE SPOILER TAGS TO POST CODES. Okay now onto the rest of the rules.)

Well, I have to admit that some people just never use this skill called 'reading'. Maybe some of them don't even notice that there's more than one page of comments on this thread. It's almost... it's almost like living in a house full of Bloo's. (Scary thought, I know.) One way to combat this would be if the top post was edited to let people know this displeasure (with appropriate flags, of course.)

To the bloke from overseas who doesn't feel it fair that non-US citizens (such as myself) cannot recieve the secret codes because they're only advertised on US TV: have you read the "For Parents" section of the game? It mentions the game is only open for US citizens. Thus, by registering, you and I lied about living in one of the 50 states! (*gasp* Horrors!) So, as far as they know (legally), they are being as fair as they can be.

...even if they're discriminating by nationality. :P

For Bigfoot Pet: BIGTOE

P.S: you enter them in secret codes in notey. Also type it in all capitals. if that does not work then do the first letter capital. :bloogrin :cheese:

The codes work in all lower case. there is no need to capitalize, but I think they are NOT case sensitive. so enter them any way you want.

ALso Has anyone seen the Third code officually released yet? I have not seen it published via CN anywhere.

I wrote a post about that a while ago, I forget what thread it was in, but no it has not been released officially yet. Someone gave it to me and I assumed it was a released one so I put it on my site, then found out that they had reportedly guessed it.

Finally,

I found on CN website the codes.
I am not sure how to post a link for it since it is on CN Video,
so here is how to get to them.

Go to CN Video,
then go to extras,
then go to PODCASTS
then choose Episode 14
the codes are at the end (all but the first code that is already on Sparkys site)
THis is the HOW to Draw Mac and Bloo bumper that that was aired back in october, but they added three codes at the end over a BFAHP clip
It says it will be up till 1/16/08 so plenty of time for everyone to view it.

I believe the secret codes were an after thought since the safe was added back around september. and there was no reference to the codes in the Help section.

As long as people follow the posted rules, there's no reason something should "be done" about it. I just find it ironic that chances are THIS is the site that people originally get the codes, they get spread around the 'Net, then people come HERE to post them. :jk: It always feels like a big "d'uh" moment when someone posts them or "brags" that they have them - the SAME ones anyone can get on THIS site.

I hope I don't find out that some poor person I'm talking to at the Comic-Con is introduced as the person who came up with the idea for the BFAHP secret codes. Because if that happens they're goin' down. :P

I think he did. That was the ONLY post he made here. I am truly amazed. Everyone who came here to ask for secret codes mostly have 3-6 posts! I have 4 posts because I wasn't available online for the past few days. UNBELEIVABLE. I can see why Sparky doesn't want people to join just for codes. But there are still people doing it!! Grr! Well...because technically people joining in order to post codes or to try and get more codes - that in and as itself isn't so bad as long as they follow the rules. It's as soon as they open their mouths (so to speak) where you often get problems. It states in between the rules and the agreement thingie, 1) not to post codes without spoiler tags, and 2) not to beg for codes. To me, those are the only real important ones. Everything else is harmless, and provides an occasional good laugh. :slybendy:

I'm SO EXCITED! I got my very first code all by myself! LOL! The codes from earlier in the year I got here. (Please don't mistake me for one of those stupid people who posts here once begging for codes and is never heard from again.) Obviously, I won't post the code here, or share what I got with it.

It's just too bad I had to sit through "Make Believe It or Not" to get the thing. IMO, that's one of the worst episodes. I like the idea that they used their imaginations on a rainy day and all that, but it just got a little too crazy and Goo-centric. On the bright side, CoCo RULED with her exploding eggs and Eduardo saving the day in the end almost made it worth watching. 8D

Actually, you are one of the few who actually DOES read the posts. And I and many others really do appreciate it. :) I was referring to others who obviously hadn't, and don't, and get obnoxious. As you can see from previous pages, this thread has been great for information, but also a thorn in our side. 8D Up til this latest surge of codes, we only had 4-5 codes and yet 7 pages worth of chatter about them and when the next ones were coming out and, ooh oooh oooh I know a code!!!

So, really, I wasn't pointing fingers and anyone specific, I was just being general, so as not to offend anyone in particular. I'm very sorry that didn't come across in the post. I actually appreciated you asking how to do it before posting, and was warning any others who may come to the thread and want to post one of the new ones we've already gotten. ;) :bloogrin:

It's a place where they cut stone. Like...to make furniture, or to make slabs for sculptors. Stuff like that. It's just a place where they cut huge chunks of stone into more manageable pieces. Fred Flintstone worked in a quarry. ;)

I think the code rush is over. so do not threat if you miss watching it on TV, I missed Half the codes while I was watching the episodes, I would see the message Code Comming Up and I would wait, and Wait and Wait then I would turn my head for a moment. or maybe blink for a second and Bamm the episode is in the credits and I did not see the code, It felt good when I finally saw one. (late in the first week)

The new and Last Update is due on Monday, but since that is a new Federal holiday or something under-publisized like that, CN would proboly push the update off till tuesday Just like the Tax Day was pushed off till the 17th.

If I read RedboXen's posts in this topic (http://www.fosters-home.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1781) correctly, then there are NO more codes for the April Update.

According to the BFAHP website, there are no more "updates" listed. However, they say that they will be adding more things "soon." So it kinda sounds like there may be more updates, like we've seen before. It could be they just add things, but we're not given exact dates, or they might continue with their monthly timeline thing they have, which shows what all was added. If that's the case, it might be around mid-May, like the pattern has been.

Whether any of this means there will be anymore codes in the game at all, who knows. As of right now there aren't any, so we'll have to wait until we see one on TV or the website.
