"If I don't make it out of here alive, tell my little boy....I love 'em"
A brilliant send up of Hollywood block-busters (And Childrens Programming) that still remains in my mind, one of the best episodes of the series' third season.
As a self proclaimed movie buff I can tell you right now the final act of the episode had me in so much hysterics that I thought I was going to wake up the entire neighborhood with my laughter (The first time I saw this episode it was late at night, and well worth staying up to see.)

This still remains my favorite episode of all time, for its brilliant writing and randomness, as well as the best-looking leading man I've seen in a long, long time! It was simply perfect satire.

A solid episode, and some of the parodies were hilarious... BUT...
I'm sorry, but if there ever was an episode that truly made me want to punch Bloo, it's this one. Him being a shameless jerk is funny, but he went a little too far even by his standards, and even though it was partially his fault, I felt terrible for Mac. It got to the point that I was almost cheering when Eduardo hijacks the film at the end.
Also, one thing I love about this show is that it's an American children's cartoon that DOESN'T use bathroom stuff for the basis of it's humor. Unfortunately, this episode was an exception, and I can't admire that at all. And it's made even worse by the fact that the only appearance of my favorite character in this episode had to be during the replaying of that video.
But, again, there are some really funny moments. "Lauren is Exploring" is awesome.

Voxxyn, I thought the joke was that everyone in the show thought flatulance was so darn funny (the school principal, Mr. Herriman, folks you wouldn't expect to find it funny), not that the bathroom humor itself was.
I guess that's still bathroom-based, but from a different angle. I thought that was kinda funny.
Lauren is Explorin' is the 2nd funniest thing I've ever seen on the show.

"Red, red, red! Things are red!"
Hahaha, I always find myself making fun of Dora the Explorer (even though I know it's for little kids), so Lauren was pretty darn funny to me.8D
Although it tends to be one of the episodes that comes up rather frequently at the moment where I live, it's still a great episode. It also gave rise to Werewilt, who I still have to attempt to draw.
I don't often like toilet humour (or anything related) either, but I still ended up laughing anyway. XD I guess I don't mind it in moderation.

I love this episode. My favorite part is when they showed the movie at the end. It was just so random and funny and...I loved it:D

I liked it because I am also a really big movie buff and loved all the parodies in it. Though what made me laugh the most is that in another episode of Foster's (I forgot which one...) It shows Jackie Khones watching 'T-Rexatron III Alien Wolfhound, A Prequel In Time: The Unrelenting'

:D Agreed!
I also love how Bloo managed to squeeze SO many movie cliches into one film!

This was an interetsing episode. I don't think it was the funniest, but that movie at the end is a conglomeration of all of the most cliche'd movie parts.. and I LOVE IT.

Explorin' Lauren's creator looked a lot like Craig from what i remember of his appearance, does anyone know if he was the director at the Explorin' Lauren studio? It sounded like hs voice, too, although i might have just been spacing out there. I think it was him, it was funny, regardless. Eduardo has a "pooting" problem.
When the show came back on from a commercial and Explorin' Lauren was on, i thought i had changed the channel accidentally!

The real Craig even uses a screencap of himself from that episode as his myspace "photo" (last I checked, anyways). ;)

The end was the best. I'm thinking of doing a fan fic based on the movie. I like the alien guy who dances w/ Wilt. :D

One of the very best episodes ever. And for Fosters, that's saying a lot. I absolutely LOVED all of Coco's parts, especially the showdown with herself, and the bomb scene. "Co cooo........". She shows that she's a great actor on "Bus the two of us" too, incedentally. ;) Also, am I the only one who would like to see more of Oscar? Just in the background, with Fluffer Nutter and Crackers, mind. The appearance of that friend just cracked me up! He had a seive for a hat!
And Eduardo was pitch perfect too. I only wish they'd worked Duchess into it too. I would assume she'd want the starring role, and Bloo'd make her play a rock or something!8D >:(

I ADORE this episode and next to 'Room with a Feud' it is my all time favourite. It REALLY made my day when I first saw this episode. I couldn't stop smiling after the 'Robot, robot, vampire' song, and I had it stuck in my head all day (which for once I didn't mind XD). I wonder if perhaps Bloo did auditions for the Movie, and if he did , I would LOVE to see them. Maybe they could put them on the extra's if they decide to make a season three DVD. Now THAT would be cool.

Really amusing to me as well. The movie seemed to be a sendup of film trailers to me though.
And does Bloo love farty, sorry, pooty noises or what?
One of my favorite episodes XD
Does anyone know the full list of movies that were spoofed, though? The ones I know are the really obvious ones:
Pirate Wilt Scurvy and and Queen Ami-coco, spoof: the Matrix
Robot Robot Vampire song, spoof: Rockstar, Shrek OST
Little Boy without a Father, spoof: E.T
I can't remember which films the Princess-sama Coco bomb scene, the three wizards one or the one with the crystal ball falling in slow-mo were spoofing.
I know for a fact the ninjas, werewolf and "tell my little boy... I LOVE HIM" were just takes on the over-used things in Hollywood these days XD But the rest I have totally no idea.

For a while CN I felt seriously overplayed this episode, and I kind of got tired of it. I remember during last year's "Red, White and Bloo" marathon, I took the oportunity to take a shower when this episode came on because I didn't mind missing it. Now that I haven't seen it in a little while, though, I think I've recovered. I like this episode too, and I thought it was cool all the movie paradies they did in it. The only thing I didn't like so much was the out of character actions of Mac when he stole Madame F's antiques and sold them to make money. Shame on you Mac! :macwor:
I'm not the most avid movie watcher, but I caught a lot of movie spoofs, whether directly or indirectly. I'm sure I'm missing some, but here are the main ones I noticed-
James Bond movies
Treasure Island
Star Wars
Peter Pan
The Matrix
Planet of the Apes
Harry Potter
Rush Hour
ET
A more avid movie watcher would be able to name more. ;)

Add to that list the old Clint Eastwood "Spaghetti Western", The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly, which provided fodder for that unforgettable shoot-out scene with the Cocos, and Citizen Cane, with the Big Baby. And can't forget the Rocky Horror Picture Show-esqu treatment of "Blooregard Q. Kazoo's" name in the opening credits!

Rock Star was one of Smash Mouth's bigger hits, from 1999's Astro Lounge. Pseudo-irrelevant reference.
A couple things contrasted with the other episode centered around a video: World Wide Wabbit. Here is a list for each.
World Wide Web
Coco yells and kicks the camera over when interviewed.
Eduardo is freaked out by the camera and runs off.
Eduardo is among those laughing at video of Herriman's "Funny Bunny" video. (The "poot" edit, "Poot Bunny", is an unofficial fan edit.) Upon seeing the video, Mr. Herriman completely flips out in anger.
One False Movie
Coco stands apparently paralyzed in embarassment when she finds herself on camera.
Eduardo just fidgets around as he tries to look good for the camera.
This time, the "poot" edit ends up being the main edit of the video. This time, Herriman is among those laughing it up at the video. Taking it as a laugh at his expense for his "pooting problem", Eduardo runs out of the room in embarassment.
Aside from all that, I found it really cute how Eduardo became hypnotized by Explorin' Lauren and the "red" song. He sort of reminded me of Linus from Peanuts there.
cartman: Don't you mean One False Movie? -.-;
And also,
James Bond movies
Treasure Island
Star Wars
Peter Pan
The Matrix
Planet of the Apes
Harry Potter
Rush Hour
ET
Which parts of the show were from which spoof? I know:
Wilt running in with the tuxedo > James Bond
Pirate Wilt Scurvy and Queen Ami-coco > Matrix
Mac and Bloo "little boy without a father" > E.T
But I don't know which other scenes were referencing which else. Someone care to point them out for me? I know I'm stupid, but I've never really watched a lot of movies. :/ (I see Harry Potter, but I really didn't catch anything of that in OFM.)

I don't know if everyone will agree with these, but here's where I saw similarities to these movies----
Treasure Island- Where Wilt comes upon an old sea captain in a rocking chair, he first struck me as Long John Silver
Star Wars- "Princess Amacoco", and also what she's wearing
Peter Pan- When the pirate ship lifts off the water and flies away
Planet of the Apes- The futuristic jungle scene with the dinosaur and "Tom Hanks"
Harry Potter- "Three wizards from the wrong side of the tracks", and them all using their "magic" against eachother
Rush Hour- Coco trying to deactivate a bomb before it explodes in "2 seconds"
And I think I thought of another one, although I don't remember actually seeing the movie so I don't know how well a spoof it is, but when Wilt transforms into a....what? Furry thing? Could that be a spoof from "An American Werewolf in London"? Or maybe "Gremlins"? ;)
