The most stupid commercials I've ever seen was that Smiling Bob commercial.

Then there's that one funny one where those Fruit of the Loom guys beat on drums, and the women in underwear are dancing to the beat of the drums. And the one yellow guy, I can't remember what fruit, but he's pounding on the drum really fast and the black guy dressed as a grape just looks at him. 8D

I would say I hate the Girls Gone Wild commercials, but I laugh too much at those to hate them. I could care less about the girls, but I crack up at how many Girls Gone Wild vehicles they have. GGW tour bus, GGW jet, GGW rocket, GGW battle tank, GGW segway, GGW unicycle...

He did get a bowl once, almost. He disguised himself very well, bought a box at some store, got it home, poured himself a bowl, and discovered that he was out of milk. On came the voiceover, asking, "Got milk?" I almost died laughing. :)

I also like that one Got Milk? commercial that portrays this really sad-looking family. All of a sudden, Pillsbury Doughboy pops out and says something like, "Woohoo! Who wants cookies?!" And this celebratory music starts playing and the family's all happy, but all of a sudden, the mother (or was it the grandma?) comes out of the kitchen and says, "There's no more milk!" And then there's this stunned silence and Pillsbury Doughboy's jaw drops and he looks shocked. I can't describe it very well...You have to see it in order to fully appreciate it.

I like that one identity theft commercial that has the guy sitting in the chair with a beer, with a girls voice, and he's all...."So, I was at the mall and I saw this leather boostiay, and I was like oh my gosh, I just have to have it!", or something like that.
And I feel like running over one of those Girls whose Gone Wild with their GGW van.
Has anyone seen that commercial on CN? It's all animated, where the little girl gets Eggo waffles or something, and the dad somehow gets dragged out the window. Anyway, the music on there reminds me a lot of Foster's.

Do you have Coco-Pops breakfast cereal in the US? They've been running a series of adverts based on this crummy cartoon monkey character (sadly called Coco) for about 20 years but ran out of rhyming couplets for jingles about Coco, his jungle friends and his crocodile enemies about 19 years ago and these days they'll just throw anything in regardless of whether it rhymes or makes any sense at all.

Sometimes desparation is cute. I like Coco-Pops.

On Adult Swim there's this commercial for Robot Chicken (narrated in the traditional deep gravelly voice, of course), and it's like:

My favorite commercial is from last year. It's a Dr Pepper commercial, and it's got Meatloaf singing that "I'd Do Anything for Love but I won't do that" song in the background... It's got the guy who buys tampons and goes bra shopping with his girlfriend, but when she wants a sip of his Dr Pepper, he dumps her.

It's not "stupid" but there's a commercial for a soft teeth guard, for people who grind their teeth in their sleep, that plays on every stinking break on the Discovery Health Channel right now that drives me crazy. I can never get to the mute button on time. It's got this HORRIBLE teeth-grinding sound in it, it travels up and down my spine. :P

The only commercial that has REALLY pushed my buttons lately is that stupidly, annoying GAP commercial with Audrey Hepburn dancing around in that black body suit. It has seriously been BEATEN to death over and over again.

And it just is really stupid, it's the most offtrack commercial I've seen. No clothes connection even in the slightest sense.

what commericals do i hate? well, all of them.

1: the ones that advertise. i just ignore them and wait for my show to come on. i wish i had tivo so i wouldnt worry about that.

2: ones that advertise shows ON THE SAME CHANELL AS THEY ARE SHOWN that annoys me. if i feel like watching it, ill watch it. i dont need you to tell me to watch it.

3: the headon commerical. i swear i will hunt down and murder the guys who came up with that

4: any commerical that tells you about how to hook up with other people. espicially over the phone. if you dont know them before you pay 99 cents to talk to them, its not worth the wasted 99 cents.

5: anything involving political stuff. Im too young to vote, and i hate the thought of voting for people i dont personally know. so ill pass.

There are 2 kinds of commericals that REALLY REALLY piss me off. One is when they have like 2 different products like Pepsi and Coca cola on the same commercial, and they have to compare saying "we do this better" which is another way of saying "SCREW cola drink pepsi".

Like those god awful Comcast commercials where the guy climbs up on his roof top during a thunder storm to bash his satellite dish with a baseball bat to get good reception? WHO THE HELL DOES THAT? Come on, no one is that desperate to watch cable for god's sakes. I use Comcast myself but still, it's just idiotic.

I agree, those Comcast commericals are just plain damn STUPID.

I also hated the Comcast commerical where the Happy Feet penguins teach some little girl how to dance like them. Very annoying IMHO. >:(

The latest horror I've seen is a new commercial for Afrin nasal spray, which features a pair of what I can only describe as "Boogeroids". Totally gross. :P

I have always hated that HeadOn commercial...

"HeadOn Apply Directly to your forehead! HeadOn Apply... HeadON I CAN'T STAND your commercial but your product is amazing."

Jeez, what if someone had a headache and used HeadOn... but nothing happens? What if his/her headache didn't go away? 8D That'd be hilarious if that person went onto the commercial saying that the product didn't work.
