TVShowsOnDVD (http://tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=6337) has announced Craig McCracken's answer to the possible DVD's question in the Comic-Con panel. Sure, we already knew it, but the fact that it's announced on a popular, world-wide-visited website could really help the show's chances.

I wonder what took them so long to post the information, Comic Con was in July and it's almost September, Personally I hope that DVD's are coming out next July...just so they can have a huge DVD release party at Comic Con 07! 8D

It could happen, t-dot! It could happen. Personally, I want them soon, but if waiting for Comic-Con is the way to go, I can't complain. 8-)

OMG maybe they can have giveaways and stuff too! I got a cool She-Ra t-shirt when I bought the She-Ra DVD. :) Ooh and a couple of She-Ra tattoos!

It'd be awesome to get free Foster's T-Shirts and free Foster's tattoos or other goodies as well as the DVDs. =D

Oh, I hope the DVDs do come out by next year. Then I wouldn't have to beg for a video ipod, the sun would smile upon me once more, and everything would be just fine.

Season Set are a Must!!! This is the ONLY show I can watch re-runs and not get bored. It's just too perfect for CN. The DVD wouldn't even need Special Features to rock out loud.

Do you think they will be shipped world wide? As I wouldn't mind getting my hand on some :bloogrin unless they are sold only on the CN company store???

The DVD release mentioned will probably only be sold in North America, so for those outside of the continent, you better hope that they release them in your country. Your best bet would be purchasing the DVDs online (if they ship worldwide). Then, another issue would be how to play the DVDs. Check this out (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/fd/NTSC-PAL-SECAM.png). If your country supports NTSC, you're in great shape. Otherwise, you'll either need a region-free DVD player or you'll have to try to get you PC's DVD player to play the DVDs.

For the record, sometime this fall Warner Brothers will have a first season DVD.

Yep, she's real all right. 8-) I always knew Khaki was a person, but prior to meeting her, I thought KJ was a male.

I'm kinda worried about the seasonal DVD sets though to be honest. I was just looking over the listings at TV.com, and I realized that Foster's "seasons" are REALLY short in comparsion to other shows.
I hope Cartoon Network doesn't screw us over and make us pay like 30 some dollars for like 5 or 8 episodes. Don't get me wrong, I want this show just as badly as the next Foster's fan, but I think it would be smart to put like 2 seasons in one set or something.
Just considering the short amount of episodes in the seasons, that's why a 5th season is already in the works, they go through them so fast because there's not a big amount of episodes in each season.

Uh, every single Foster's season has 13 episodes, not even close to 5 or 8. So I'm guessing they'll follow the pattern set by the Samurai Jack DVD sets.

Well then it sure doesn't feel like 13....

For what it's worth, 16 episodes, with the commercials deleted, can be squeezed onto a blank six hour DVD. The playback quality isn't great, however, and the screencaps made from the disk are small.

It's not going to cost that much, that's ridiculous. It may be about what a Season 1 set of Teen Titans costs, and I believe it has about the same number of episodes per season as Foster's. I expect a $19.95 at retail value price tag.
