(I found this on Wikipedia)
Foster's the Movie: Journey to The Imaginary World is a future movie based on the Cartoon Network show Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends. The plot is, incidentally, somewhat like that of Neil Gaiman's film MirrorMask.
Plot
When visiting Foster's, like he does every day, Mac finds something right inside that he doesn't see every day: a large interdimensional portal. Bloo shows up several seconds later, also noticing the portal. Their curiosity gets the best of them, and they go through the portal. The next thing they know, they find themselves in a garish-looking, almost Dr. Seuss-esque plaza. They see a green version of Wilt. Green Wilt mistakes Mac for someone else, and nabs him. Once Green Wilt realizes that Mac is not who he's looking for, he explains everything that's going on. He says that they're in the "Imaginary World" and that their Emperor Oozak (who looks just like Mac except with neon orange hair and purple skin) and his royal subject Maazak (who looks just like Bloo except pink) have been missing for months, and since then, the dimension has been taken over by Oozak's evil older brother Varzak (who looks just like Terrence with neon green hair and purple skin) and Gorzak (who looks just like Red except light blue).

I don't know if it's true but I hope it is. They're going to make another movie of Foster's again. ALRIGHT!:)

I can ask Lauren on this, but I'm 100% sure that this is nothing but more 'Wiki Crap' folks put on Wikipedia.

I can just about guarantee that it's 100% made-up Wikipedia spammer garbage!
What I don't think many people realize is that ANYBODY can post "articles" or "information"(and in some cases, especially where Foster's is concerned, MISinformation)on Wikipedia.com. That is NOT an official site for Foster's information, so it cannot be trusted. There has been a HUGE problem of people intentionally posting fake episodes there, partly because they think it's funny, and in some cases, they are delusional and actually think that their fanfic ideas will be accepted by Craig and Co. and made into episodes, if they post them on Wikipedia.com.

Yeah, I think this is spam. What usually happens (and this has happened before), someone trying to mock the series comes on and pretends that a movie will be made, attempting to convinve the fans that something spectacular is happening in their fandom.
It's sad, but it's what happens.

The plot is lame, so I really hope that's NOT going to be a movie and that it is indeed just someone's stupid idea of a joke. ::)

I don't think its real, just because it announces the whole plot right there. I mean, we know GWH is real, but aside from a few details we know very little about it.

I think it's a very bad joke, nothing more, and I'm going to ignore it.

when folks make stuff up like this, I'd hope they'd be a little more creative. I have no doubt the Fosters crew is better than that. They wouldn't come up with such a preposterous and rather boring plot, and then try to stretch it to movie length.
"Imaginary World", how original.....
If it is real, I'll likely be a bit dissapointed.

Yes, folks, this is nothing but Wiki Crap. I asked Lauren Faust, and she said the following:
"It's false. I'm sure someone thinks it's funny to post false info. We've seen lots of stuff there that's wrong."
Sad, but true. :(

I'm not sad at all...I'm relieved. I'd rather wait another year for a REAL Foster's movie then something with a plot as bad as that one had.

I said it was "sad", because people really like to post a bunch of garbage on the Wikipedia site. The folks at Wikipedia are way too loose, and they seriously need moderation.

It's a shame that Wiki can't be as accurate as it ought to be. It is a free site, though, and can be a good resource. Something needs to be done if rumors are being posted as fact, though.
I take a grain of salt or two with me when I browse the Wikipedia, after the Betamax page was full of errors.

If it *was* real there's no way that much detail of the plot would be available to the public already anyways. That's the best way to tell if something's fake over there.

I agree with the "I am glad this is not real because it sounds really lame and totally not cool" people. The Foster's crew would never come up with such a cliched plot, although I will readily admit that orange and purple complement each other.

Maybe Craig and Cartoon Network, should also make a Public Service Announcement about the dangers of posting fake show information on the Internet. 8D

I would think that someone with too much free time could come up with something better than that. If not, oy.

Hm. Sounds like a bad fanfcition, to me. I'm happy it's not true. That plot is just...un-Foster's-like. This is why I avoid Wikipedia.

There is, however, a lot of good stuff about Foster's on Wikipedia, as I have made many contributions to that site (Images, episode info, character bios, et al).

That's good and all--but, darnit, I WON'T be happy until somebody replaces that current GODAWFUL summary of Frankie on the main page.
The first sentence is fine, but the second--the one that goes "She is often pressured by Mr. Herriman to do chores around the house, but doesn't enjoy it, and considers herself to be 'punk rock'"--has to go. At face value, it is true--but it's spun to make it look like she's a unlikable brat who hates imaginary friends. Why does it mention on Madame Foster's summary that she is very kooky and spunky, yet there can't be at least a passing mention of the more positive aspect to Frankie's personality?
I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE IT.
**Takes deep breath**
I actually really like Wikipedia overall... but when it comes to information about animation(Not just Foster's), let's just say I prefer other sources.
This so-called movie plot... to be honest, I agree with what others said, I wouldn't be excited even if it were real.

Well, since anyone can edit Wikipedia, I different-ized it. Hope they don't mind. If they do, too bad.

Anyway, about the "Foster's Movie" posted on the site, that's the lamest thing I've ever heard! I mean, really! Don't people have anything better to do than to waste space AND time like that by posting up false junk? :o I could tell it was fake from the first minute I read it because it just...sounded so unlike something that would be in Foster's.

Getting back on track, I think the focus here was about this so called Foster's movie and I think we may have gotten a bit off the focus here. Anyways, I'm kinda glad this is a fake movie because to be honest, it didn't sound too amazing.
Usually when a TV show gets a movie be it on TV or in theaters, it usually has to be something much more epic like with the Powerpuff Girls movie or the Kim Possible movie. This plot doesn't sound like it's anything of "movie" magnitude if you know what I mean.
Plus, the plot seems too centered on this whole new world and not so much as the characters which is what Foster's is all about: the characters. They have such a wide variety of colorful and unique characters that they make the show what it is.
I heard they were planning on doing a movie sooner or later, and I hope they do because this show is good enough, smart enough, and funny enough to make one dam good movie out of.
Hmm, the thing I have to wonder about is why this guy/gal would think anyone would believe him/her. Even if the plot was plausible (which it is not), there is no way anyone could have heard so much about the plot in so much detail before the movie was near release, and even then it's difficult to get anything beyond a few lines of plot summary. Believe me, I've tried.
