    Ye olde follow-up post:

    1. Good to know; I'd hate to be a misunderstood nuisance if asking for directions to wherever or announcing that my aorta has ruptured. I'm assuming that the same cannot be said for the written word, and that all signs, menus, etc., are written exclusively in Icelandic. Probably manageable, at least if pictures are included.

Pompous jackass? Please, I spent five years dealing with Wilt fangirls and their evil high priestess. You're fine.

    2. Hmm, guess I may be doing some studying a some point. I can live on fast foods and/or out of grocery stores, but there's no way I'd visit anywhere without sampling the native cuisine at least a few times. (Howard lives not far from the Mexican border; whenever I visit his place, I tend to gorge myself on Mexican food. ) In any case, I'll do some research and see what comes up. Oh, I don't drink, so that's pretty much a non-issue.

    3. Unfortunately it's something we have to worry about everywhere these days. I would hazard a guess, however, that Iceland is likely one of the friendlier spots for Americans. Just a hunch but I'd bet I'm right. As for Trump, I cannot voice my opinion of him without violating half of the strictures in the Forum Rulebook, so suffice it to say that I did not vote for him and I do not like him.

So noted. Dying is not on my list of Things To Do.

Lol, yeah, I know she's Faroese; that was the second thing about her that I checked. (The first was her marital status. ) There are more videos and a link to her YouTube channel in my current DeviantArt journal if you're interested. Yeah, I wrote a journal about her. I'm in full fanboy mode. Honestly, Eivør is the finest singer I've ever heard.

"Frankie! That weird kid is using a flower pot for a cup!"

    Sailor Moon. Best Anime EVER.
