We'll be wanting to stop at Walgreens, too, for batteries, first-aid supplies, and as much food and water as we can fit in the car. Might as well grab some toys, too, so we'll have something to do when the power goes out. Dibs on the Lego. 
Seriously, if that thing goes off, it's not going to be pleasant. The ash cloud may reach the Eastern seaboard, although I don't think my area will see more than an inch or so of ash. Wyoming and Colorado, on the other hand, are GONE. This is a world-changer however you look at it.
