For the past year or so the town has been digging up the main road and replacing sewer or gas lines, or something like that. One year and they've finished about a quarter of a mile... Anyway, they started on the next part of the road today, over near Walgreens, and apparently they had a tard moment with the heavy equipment and hit the wrong pipe. Oops. Been about 12 hours now since it happened and they're still trying to fix it. 
Edit - Water was restored at around 2:30 AM. The toilet seems to flush with a lot more power than before.
