I haven't seen snow this deep in ages. The roads have been cleared, more or less; the sidewalks range from impassable to narrow corridors with high walls. There are areas where the snow has been piled up so high that you could dig a burrow in it with room to stand. When I was a kid, this would have been the ultimate Winter Wonderland; now, it's just something that I'm glad I don't have to shovel.
