Having a pretty good time, I'd say. Watched a couple of movies and assorted cartoons, went to one of Howard's jam sessions jam sessions, and I've taken about 100 or so pics of the local scenery, including one of a fairly large lizard that was crawling on the wall of his neighbor's house. 
He's at work right now; no idea what we'll be doing tonight but I'm sure we'll come up with something. Which reminds me, we need for you to pass the hat and collect whatever you can for bail money. You know, just in case. 
Arizona itself is an inferno - the overnight low tends to be in the upper 90's - but I'm managing, mostly by avoiding the sun and drinking everything in sight.
