Both hands, plus his left arm and shoulder, are jet black. On closer inspection, it almost looks like some form of armor. Really weird. I can't tell if it's affected the rest of his body because the game keeps babies mostly wrapped up - a definite step backwards from Sims 2. Whether or not this is something that'll go away when I next start the game, or if it's something he'll grow out of, is an open question. I've never seen anything like it, though. Very strange.
