    You don't see bands like that anymore. These days it's more about lip-synching along with pre-recorded tracks and distracting the audience with dancers and glitz. I miss bands like AC/DC; they wore T-shirts and jeans, played a solid, honest gig, didn't waste time making on-stage political statements, and the special effects were limited to cannon fire and Angus Young mooning the audience. The show wasn't about some allegedly "hot" flash-in-the-pan teen idol or a cause of some sort or about the dancing or the pyrotechnics; it was about the music. It's largely a thing of the past now, and we are poorer for the loss.
