I like my approach. All dishes are in a cabinet above the stove, except for the One Plate, which gets used and washed in a continuous cycle until such time as I drop it, at which point I will go to the cabinet and select a new One Plate. Same with the One Bowl. Glasses... well, they don't get used much unless I have company. I live alone, therefore I drink my tea straight from the bottle. It's easier.
