Thank you Howard, that means a lot. She could still hang in there for another few months, but with how fast she's declining, I'm betting it will be sooner rather than later. I got a surprise call from my mother this morning, and the first thing in my head was "Oh no... this is it!" But no, she just wanted to let me know she's coming over a little later today than usual because she slept in.
