I don't feed him. I let him cry and beg as much as he wants until it's his supper time. 
If I gave in and fed him early, he'll just start begging for his supper earlier and earlier every night. He's spoiled rotten, but I do manage to maintain control of some situations concerning him. He's my child, besides.
