I would be guarding my house with a high pressure garden hose. On the Eastern seabord - there is a little thing called "cabbage night." The night before Halloween, and on Halloween night kids bomb houses with soap (on the windows), toilet paper, smash pumpkins, and eggs. Well those cabbagers knew the discomfort of being doused in crisp New Jersey October weather at 40 degrees or less.
