I would go through DAV (Disabled American Vets), to the VA, because going directly takes time for the rating to come back. The DAV does not horse around, and can get that rating more expeditiously. Now I have a better chance of getting my rating faster than someone who is just applying the first time. I have to have doctors concur their findings and all the other bureaucratical repple-depple.
