I was looking at my paper I did about the Bisbee Deportation of 1917. It was the biggest deportation if IWW workers in the US. Bisbee was a company copper town that took care of it's workers. These were stormy times during WW1, and Mexico was just miles to the South (Villestas on the prowl, and Mexico possibly siding with Germany).
