Today, I test drove a 2007 Volkswagen GTI -- it's a sporty hatchback with a DSG transmission: basically, it's a manual transmission without a clutch pedal. I loved it, but I had to curb my enthusiasm: $22,000 with about 20,000 miles on it. Wasn't gonna buy it today anyway, but it was still disheartening seeing that price. Afterwards, I had to help my dad move some dirt. Real fun
