the legend of black heaven

Spoiler Below
I'm only two episodes in, but still I'm hooked. Dont bother bringing logic into this, while you're at it. after all, the story's about how a man powers spaceships by playing rock music. while in space. where there is no sound.

or something along those lines. anyway, great show. would recommend.

The Yankees-Indians game on Fox yesterday. The Tribe annihilated the Pinstripes, 22-4.

Wow, there are drubbings and there is "total annihilation" I think this game falls into the latter category.

Reaper

This is such a fantastic show, I really hope to god the creators DON'T ditch this show and head over to the jerks at Fox studios. Every new episode that comes out continues to floor with me with its multitude of new surprises. New characters, new plots with interesting and varied results and it just keeps feeling fresher and fresher.

So many quality shows have been dropped into the cancellation chopping block and/or have already been canceled and I prey to god this show survives because its one of the few really rare and original shows with such comedic brilliance and unique storyline structure.

South Park

An episode called 'The Ungroundable' I think. Other than to highlight the brilliant Fields of the Nephilim-type song about burning down Hot Topic, the only reason I mention it here is that in the scene where the chief vamp kid is being brought to Principal's office, there's a moment where he looks exactly like Bendy after Bloo's finally caught him out. I suppose it's a coincidence of the 2 very simple character designs - 2 big eyes and a down-turned line mouth but just for a moment I could have sworn I was looking at my long last pal Bendy.

power rangers RPM

I havent actually watched power rangers since dino thunder, but I just decided to watch an episode when I saw it on and nothing else at the moment. It was actually pretty interesting. especially since some of the humor actually got me laughing. cant say every show does that anymore.

From Youtube, an unaired pilot for a Plastic Man cartoon series (From 2004 or so) that wasn't picked up by Cartoon Network.

It was produced, co written and stared a well known cartoon voice actor we all admire. (Tom Kenny)

The art and character designs looks like what would happen if John K was brought in to work for D.C comics. (Minus the gross out close ups.)

I can't imagine why this wasn't picked up, the jokes and dialogue were pretty solid and it would have been a good outlet to showcase D.C's less then "super serial" heroes and villains.

Anyways here is a link to the toon, so you all can form your own reasons as to why this didn't take off.

Whose Line is it Anyway?

The complete 1st seasons of both Whose Line and Avatar were FINALLY released on DVD in Australia (but without special features on Avatar! ), so I didn't hesitate and pre-ordered both of them. I just finished watching the first lot of episodes of Whose Line, and it's just as good!

I'm just now waiting for the time where I can watch ALL season 1 episodes of Avatar.
