Default RIP: Leslie Nielsen

The guy whose line in Airplane!--"I am serious. And don't call me Shirley"--is a classic in the annals of cinema comedy was 84.

More here.

Just read this on Twitter. Sorry to say, he hadn't been looking good, and I believe his memory was failing him. We saw him at a panel at Comic Con some years ago and he was kind of unresponsive to the fans and couldn't remember a lot of stuff. He lived long though and I hope he had a full life. God bless him for taking on the role of Mr Magoo.

The freaky part, is were talking about him LAST nite! One person asked if he was dead, and my friend and I said "no." This was last night, and now he is dead today. RIP

I first heard this as a "rumor", which a radio station from Vancouver, BC was airing. Not long after, it was confirmed. I'm just amused how Seattle kept asking "How did Vancouver hear of this before we did??"

He was a funny guy, and great actor, he'll be surely missed.

RIP Mr. Nielsen

WOW, A very sad farewell to of Canada's certifiable acting legends.

Really don't have much to say because I am still getting over the shock.
